  • I'm down! I'm a stay-at-home wifey, need to kick my butt into gear! I'll try to add you, but I just started using mfp again and if I don't figure it out, feel free to add me 🤣
  • My all-time favorite scary movie is Changeling (the one from 1980, NOT the Angelina Jolie one, though that one wasn't bad. Different story all together). Cabin in the Woods, Ring, It (the new ones are phenomenal!). If you're ok with subtitles, Errementari (the Blacksmith and the Devil) is really good! I came upon it…
  • I've owned fitbits for about 5-6 years and have never had that problem. I'd just ignore or block them. Most people are super nice!
  • My husband is playing Doom (so old school, lol!) so, I'm listening to that *awesome* soundtrack, haha!
  • I totally understand that! I lost about 40 pounds at the beginning of the year and gained 25 back. Then I started a weight loss challenge in April and have lost 18 pounds and 30 inches, I'm gaining muscle and losing fat, it's awesome! I'll add you and feel free to message me if you have any questions or need some tips :)
  • I agree, as long as you don't feel hungry and tired, that is pretty good :) Healthy weight loss is about 2 pounds per week, so that is almost 3 weeks. Plus, if you are working out, you can lose more than 2 and it can still be healthy!
  • You need to eat less calories than you burn during the day to lose weight. The lowest amount of calories you should consume in a day is 1,000. Anything less than that is unhealthy! I am 5'7" and 166 pounds and am on an 1,150 calorie per day meal plan right now and never feel hungry or starved. The biggest thing is to eat…
  • If you are feeling hungry, you need to go back in and fix it so it allows you more calories, i had to do that because i would binge after i got home from work b/c i was hungry. After i added 200 calories, the weight started coming off! Hope this helps and good luck! :drinker:
  • I have never had strawberry milk, but this sounds really yummy since i love strawberries!
  • Very interesting! It makes a lot of sense, though! Thanks for the post
  • I went way over my whole first week... slowly i started to get back on track and it has worked  Don't fret too much, that can cause you to overeat as well :grumble: Well, good luck and don't beat yourself up! :flowerforyou:
  • Welcome! I started to eat healthier right after i heard about this site, it makes it so easy to count those calories and eat right! When you have to be accountable it sure does help! Good luck! :flowerforyou:
  • If your stomach is protesting, you need to eat more. When i first started, i was not feeling full, so after a couple days i changed my goals so i could eat more calories and now i feel really good. I am losing weight, too! If you are hungry, your body will hold onto the weight, too, thinking you are starving. Just some…
  • My wii says i weight 145, and i weigh about 175... Go with your scale :) I don't know why mine is so off, but it is for some reason, maybe i can fix it... hmm... anyway, scales are always goin to be more accurate. Good luck with your weightloss! :drinker:
  • One sure way to keep track of weight loss and feel good is to to take your measurements, and you can keep track of them on here! I haven't lost a lot of pounds, but i lost 2 inches off my waist and 2 inches off my hips, so don't let a scale ruin your life! :drinker: Just keep the end result in mind and you will do…
  • Another thing you are probably going to find is that muscle mass is going up, so you are not going to be showing much loss for a month or two while your muscles bulk up a little. Keep it up! You will see the results!
  • That's the way you need to think about it! Good luck!
  • I totally agree that scales lie! I bought my first scale, though a few days ago and got one that has a body fat percent thingie on it, so it tells weight and body fat percentage. I really liked the idea of having that, because even if the scale isn't showing a loss, i can tell if i've gained muscle or fat! As an…
