Its really good as a sandwich. Thinly slice and spray with a lil oil. Grill or broil them until they are cooked, like 10 mins. I usually eat on a tortilla with grilled bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumber etc. You can add a yoguat spread (greek yoguart, lemon juice, mint and basil) instead of mayo.

Most people change the ratios of food to 40/30/30% for carbs/protein/fat. You should try that. It will help.

I was suprised how many calories fruits and veggies have when I started. Its always better to log them since it gives you a better idea what your eating and the quantity. I do what the above person does. I create alot of recipes and it creates meals so much faster then entering individually.

I would join you but I don't think I will be ready in time. Let me know the next one you will be doing around the Bay Area and hopefully I will be in enough shape for it. I want to run/ jog at least half not just walk the whole thing. I am on week 2 of C25K now.

Skinny Taste is an amazing site, I use it alot for recipe ideas. I tend to cook most things at home since alot of resturants add alot of oils and butters to cook faster. You can add me too. Exchnging recipes would be awesome.

I have this good avocado and cucumber soup recipe from Gordon Ramsey. I can email it to you later if you want. I think it has 2 cucumbers (peeled), 2 avocados, Greek yogurt, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. I would have to get back to you on the specifics.

As long as it is extra virgin and cold pressed,I don't think it matters on the brand but most are around the $8 mark. I use it as a hair mask and skin lotion plus the cooking aspect. Its amazing stuff.

Hey everybody. I was in Ukraine 2008-2010. I thought about extending but I just could deal with another winter there,I never really understand a real winter until I went there especially since I am from California. I was lucky in losing weight but once I can home,I gained it all back.

Salo. Imagine eat the pure uncooked fat from bacon in 1 inch pieces. Its a common food in eastern Europe (Ukraine and Russia). They think its very healthy for you. I ate it once to be polite and it was so disgusting.

Under the food tab there is a link in the blue bar for recipes. Its very useful for homemade meals except you have to know how many servings there are. Good luck.
