Never learned how to cook while growing up so all I ate was processed/outside foods. Only thing I "cooked" was ramen noodles (*shivers* I hate them now since I ate so much of it) and microwaved stuff. Then got on the bandwagon and started cooking for myself and limiting junk/processed stuff and it really helped! Teach your…

Has anyone tried Trader Joe's chocolate covered potato chips? If not, DON'T!!!! Seriously addictive and coming in @ 1,035kcal per bag of approximately 27 chips...... .....which I can not stop @ just 6 chips aka "a serving". Failed on 3 occasions in both moderation and the willpower to not buy them. :noway: You all have…

(Need to TONE!) Main target weight is 135lbs but want that extra cushion of 5lbs to work with so ultimate goal is 130lbs. I am…

A patient of mine thought I went and had plastic surgery on my face because my features became sharper. Can't blame him, I do have a "face-lift scar" on my right side of the ear/neck area from a tumor removal surgery in the middle of my journey.

I was eating my home brought lunch of chicken salad and my coworker at my new job (whom never saw my "fatness") said I eat really healthy. I told her I was trying to watch my diet. Next thing she said was, "...but you're skinny!" I almost cried on my lunch. First time ever someone used the word "skinny" and applied it to…

A patient was discussing with my boss how its very hard to find clothes to fit in Asia. Then, the old lady patient, thinking I was out of earshot, comment that I would be hopeless trying to shop in Asia.....but my boss defended me, telling the patient that she can't say stuff like that, and that I am a wonderful worker.…

I work in a dental office and a patient that I saw back in August 2012 came back for her 6 month recall noticed my weight loss which I had started back in October 2012. She did comment that I had looked taller and she thought that I was someone else (my sister). So far mostly it has been women that commented on the change…

I do the Fiber One 90 calorie brownie thing during that time of the month when that craving comes along. Not as rich as your typical brownie but it makes up for it in calories!

Had always been a size 12 and up and up until before I started this "PROJECT", I was a size 18. I do not want to look at the of back of a clothing rack (since they usually sized them smaller to bigger) and it seems the biggest size is 20 @ certain clothing stores (and even some only up to 14 or 16!) That pants rack was…

thanks for the replies! I have been pretty good w/ my food choices (homemade everything usually) and cut out a lot of breads, sugars, fast foods etc. I wasn't sure if you would only follow the "roadmap" method when you had hit a plateau or whatnot. Will try again and may everyone reach their goals, either to gain or lose,…
