  • So, do you eat 1600 cals a day and just do strength training? No cardio? Thanks all for the great advice, I have already reconfigured my daily calorie intake. It's a bit hard since I have been doing it for so long, but I am changing it. I never knew I was starving my body. :/
  • Thank you all for the feedback, I thought I might be eating too few calories because of my workouts, but it worked at first, so I had stuck with it. I will definitely refigure my daily calorie intake and try switching up my workouts. I'm in no way giving up! I have a goal to meet and I will get there!
  • I buy the 1L water bottles every 2 -3 days and refill them constantly throughout the day. One bottle is equal to 4 cups of water. If you just drink 2, you have the "recommended" daily intake, but everyone should be drinking half of your weight in ounces daily. I drink about 4 of these a day.
  • Yes, but in the 60's and 70's there were no cell phones, hand held gaming devices, iPads, Playstations, 60" plasma 3D TVS, etc. People were more active, in life and in their careers. Children played outside instead of sitting glued in front of the tv playing video games or watching the inappropriate cartoons on tv…
  • Question...to become a mommy before 30? That is definitely my goal and the motivation behind my weight loss. If this is what you are saying, then count me in!
  • I'm also definitely looking to lose 50+ pounds...probably a heck of a lot more than that! I am also looking for more friends on here to help each other stay motivated. All are welcome to add!
  • Feel free to add me. I'm 28 and looking for active friends as well. Anyone feel free to add!
  • Haha, that just made my morning! My students looked at me like I was crazy when I started laughing out loud during open lab time.
