I like to help keep it fun by playing "Just Dance" with my daughter. Man...that game is a workout! One of them has the option to "Just Sweat"...you really do sweat!

I am a 33yr old mother of 3 and it's definitely hard! You can do it! I wake up an hour early so I can get my workout in while everyone is asleep :) My biggest struggle is the eating. So many kid snacks everywhere :( I started the 30 Day Shred yesterday and also do 25-30min of elliptical in the morning. Looking to lose…

Feel free to add me! I'm just starting back into a routine and looking to lose about 15 lbs. I would love to friend some motivated people to help keep me motivated too :-)

Thanks!! I take that as a compliment. The smallest my body had ever been is a size 7 (wayyyy back in high school). There are other women on here who are my height (5'9) and are below a size 7. I don't know how they do it! They look great. My body does not go below a size 9.

you look amazing! keep up the good work!

I'm 5'9 143lbs and wear a size 9

I got the soup & salad the last time I was there thinking I was being good. I was SHOCKED when I got home and logged the salad. Don't eat the salad! lol
-
I do the same thing and they are delicious! I use a little salt/pepper instead of rosemary & garlic.

I am 5'9 and my goal weight is 138lbs. That's what I weighed before I started having kids and I miss it. My SW was 151 and my CW is now 143. I'm already feeling so much more comfortable and wearing clothes in my closet I haven't worn in years

More Veggies that I have ever purchased in my life, no sodas, and no going down the cookie isle anymore and grabbing a package. I also stopped buying cakes & brownies to bake at home. If they are sitting on my counter, I will take a piece each time I walk by it.

That sounds really low. My elliptical goes up to Lev 10 and when I do Lev 5/6 intervals for 45min it says I burn about 750-800 cals. I have heard that ellipticals over estimate calorie burn by up to 20% sometimes. I go to a website called fitwatch.com and type in my weight/age/intensity and it usually tells me I'm burning…

I was burning a lot of calories and was losing weight. But I found it really hard to eat back all my exercise calories and my net was barely at 1200 (if I was lucky). I was burning about 700-800 a day 4-5x a week. I continued with my same routine but cut it down to 3x a week, I noticed the weight falling off a little bit…

Since having kids and getting married I noticed it has been more difficult keeping my core group of friends (none of them have kids yet). I'm not in school anymore, am a SAHM, am new to the area, and am not involved with church so I find making new friends very difficult. So I went on meetup.com and found a mom group that…

I had something similar screwed into my arm. My bone was a little too big and causing problems in my wrist. After they removed some of the bone they screwed a plate down my forearm. I had it removed about 2 years later because it was bothering me and after they took x-rays of it they discovered one of the screws was…

I live in southern california so the phrase that keeps me motivated is "bikini season" haha

If I have extra calories I go for the sweets. I love a reeses peanut butter cup :) Hits the spot everytime and 1 cup is 100 cals, so I don't feel totally guilty when I'm done. If I have a lot of extra calories Frozen Yogurt has my name all over it too :)

I wish my husband & I both had more patience. Our 3 year old really pushes our buttons somedays and it would be nice to take a deep breath and remember she's only 3, instead of getting mad or frustrated. Also just more patience with each other. There are days we jump all over the other for no real reason.
-
I will definitely give that a try one night!
-
Personal Chef for sure! I can work out on my own, but having someone cooking healthy meals for me every night would be AWESOME! Would you rather: Live in a big beautiful house in a rough neighborhood or a cramped house in a nice neighborhood

you took the words right out of my mouth, lol

You look amazing and younger! What an inspiration!

It will get easier. I mainly use my elliptical for exercise and when I first started I could barely do 15min without feeling like I was dying. Now I can make it to 45min and a moderate-vigourous pace. I feel as though I am almost ready to make it to 60min. I was very sedentary when I started. You will get there. I don't…

If I know I know where I am going out I will often look up the restaurant online and see if they have the nutritional info listed so I can plan out my calories before I go and know what I can eat without blowing all my hard work. If the website doesn't have it listed, I will google what I want to eat to get a general idea.…

I used to LOOOOVE that Abba-Zabba bar. It came in that Yellow/black wrapper and it was white taffy stuff with creamy peanut butter in the middle.

Hi Neighbor! Murrieta here too :)

I live in Murrieta now, just outside of Temecula. But grew up in North County Vista/San Marcos area.

I like Chicken Fajitas and they are super easy. I buy a bag of frozen bell peppers & onions already chopped up and ready to go (because I'm too lazy to cut them, haha), a fajitas seasoning packet, and about 2-3 chicken breasts. Slice up the chicken and cook it until no longer pink. Then remove from pan. Throw in the bag of…
