I agree with the dietitian. Eventually we are all going to have to learn not to log every calorie we consume. I love doing it now because it's keeping me aware of how things can add up quickly. But I also can't see me doing this for years on end.

I'm interested in joining! I am turning 30 on March 22 and am trying to lose 5lbs by then! I mostly do cardio anyways, but this would help keep me motivated on the days I don't feel so motivated :) I'm 5'9 148lbs

I am having the same problem! I am eating 3 meals a day + 2 snacks and I am WAY UNDER my calories. I usually earn about 600 from exercise so I know that has a lot do with it it. MFP has me at 1490 ( I am 148lbs, 5'9, 29yrs old) for the day. After the exercise and all my food for the day, it still says my "net calories" is…

Good question. I have been wondering the same thing. I have been been under my calorie goal each day and exceeded my exercise goals and I weigh the exact same. But I even when I am under my calories for the day, I notice I am sometimes over the carbs or protein. Not sure if that is affecting my results. This is my first…

I am also trying to stay around 1500/day also. I have never tracked calories before so the food journal on here was definitely an eye opener! It has really made me more away of what I am eating and servings.
