This is going to sound so retarded. When I was running, I had trouble with my pace. I would listen to one song the entire 5 miles I ran...."I Love a Rainy Night" by Eddie Rabbit. It was the only thing that didn't have me nearly passing out. LOL! (Don't tell anyone I told you this.)

I'm on a new adventure. I've always belonged to a gym in the past. I lost 115 pounds through diet and the gym. But I went through some changes in my life and suddenly I would look up and it had been weeks since I'd seen the inside of my gym. And of course, the weight started piling on again. So I decided to put together my…

I just got a new toy, and immersion blender. I blended up a half a cantelope with ice last night. It was sweet and creamy. And best of all it really did fill me. It's about 114 calories. I drink tons of water...which is a big change for me...and it seems to really be killing my cravings and hunger. I quit all soda and I…

First, FTB! Second, being on this site, working on you, is the best way to feel better about yourself and more confident. You just keep doing what you're doing and don't let some drunk, low class skank even be a blip on your radar. Chin up!

If for nothing more than the pasta stuff, I want to marry you.

Now I bet that's refreshing. Ooo! I could even freeze them!

Not a dang thing! It saves $$, calories, and caffeine intake. Sorry Starbucks, cause I do love you.

Oh how I can relate. This is a big problem for me. And I'll get muscle cramps across my ribcage that make me want to drop and curl into a fetal position. I've begun taking potassium supplements and I eat a half of bananna before or after a workout. But I still get them.

Thanks for the input. I woke up completely indifferent to breakfast. My main worry was that I'd become ravenous later and be on the job where I couldn't get something. Then I'd go nuts and screw up my eating for the day. I'm gonna try out what you suggested and do my best to have a healthy snack on hand in case of…

Agree. Because once I check a food out, I tend to put it in a list in my head that says it's ok. It would never occur to me that the ingredients could change. It's a wakeup call for me.

*crickets chirping* Oooookay. Thanks!

Kinda hating on you right now. :P

I'm a big egg fan. I find it filling. After a workout, I will sometimes have a half of bananna as I find I need the potassium. And I find getting in water helps cut cravings and quiet my stomach.

Careful about designating her the clean up crew... (no offense meant).

There's a guy on youtube who does raw foods and he makes something with carob and dates. You can check it out at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6WuQ4pGW64&feature=channel&list=UL I like some of his ideas.

The other night I was going nuts! I got out my immersion blender and threw in some ice, a table spoon of agave nectar, four halved strawberries, and a few blue berries. It was refreshing and made my tummy shut up!

Fantastic! Congratulations!!!

I ordered it this weekend. There were a lot of things about the program that I liked. Let me know what you think when you get started. I can't wait to get started with it.

First, *hugs*. Girl, I feel you. Whenever I stall...and I'm just starting on the site so just know I'm no stranger to this game....the answer is usually found in my diet. Of course, tweaking your exercise routine can help some. But I'd first look to what's going in.

I feel your pain. This is a MAJOR struggle for me too. And all for the same reasons you listed. I want the taste, I don't want to take on additional calories. *sigh*

It looks like you're having success with things the way you're currently doing it, which is great! It's like everyone else said, it'll take a while longer. I do agree with the lady who said walking IS exercise. Anything you do to move your body is great. The thing is, it's not just about weight loss. It's about over all…
