After a week or so, notice around your face and neck. That was the first place I noticed a slimming. I had my friend laughing, I call it "meat neck." That condition where your head transitions down to your shoulders in one thick cylinder. Then notice your clothes. It's little things at first, and you may find that you…

This! ^^^ It's delicious and guilt free!

I have something along those lines. Yes.

Oh and I just wanted to mention this ^^^^ See what a freak I am? This medication absolutely does not speed me up. It calms and focuses me! I can take it right before going to sleep and sleep soundly. I think I was fortunate to have any beneficial affects from it at all. My doctor explained why this is happening to me,…

Oh and tracyannk28.... ....I think I might be in love with you. :)

Man, there was a lot of helpful information waiting for me this evening. Thank you, everyone for chiming in. From what I can gather, Phentermine, while a useful tool in the short-term seems to be something I will be doing without sooner rather than later. Not because it's harmful but because it's temporary in its…

Currently, I log five miles a day on the elliptical and do a host of weight training of various body parts on various days as well as ab work. Additionally, I have a physical job and work outdoors much of the time. Unfortunately for me, exercise seems to only increase my appetite. Please understand, I'm not a medication…

Wow! I didn't know about this. Thanks. I'll be sure to check it out.

Well, I can say this, I was eating within the parameters set by the calculations from MFP. It had scant amounts of carbs as I am sensitive to them, exhibiting some of what you mentioned. But additionally, something else was amiss. I'd cook healthy, properly proportioned meals and still not be satisfied. Or some days, I'd…

Thank you so much.

It's just like what MKEgal wrote. You just aren't hungry. Not full. Just not like a heroine addict five days late for a fix. I think there may be a gap in understanding because not everyone knows what that is like. They might think they know how difficult it is, but if you can get through without the aid of the meds, you…

So, I've got to head out to work. But Let me say this. I was terrified of any and all diet meds. And as a general rule if you can mange without them, that's the best coarse of action. I personally know someone, a young (late 30's) woman who died a few years back from a heart attack while taking diet meds. So it was close…

What part? Dude. See. I remember now why I'm hesitant to get involved in a community setting. There's always going to be un-deputized board police whose life revolves around monitoring...all. I can see you're a posty fellow. Here's the thing, regardless of what YOU feel was said in previous posts, I'm posting what I felt…

I think everyone is different. For instance, I try to meet the goal intake before exercise is added in, but if I'm having a rough day and needed more to eat, I might get closer to the adjusted total.

Down, Tex! Down! I'm just telling you what my take was when I cruised through some of the posts, ok? Yer gettin a tad rabid here. :p The point is, work with your doctor. Understand it's a tool, not a magic cure. Don't think of it as a long-term solution over mastering your habits. And most of all, DON'T be shamed into not…

I'm afraid I did not. ...and don't call me Shirley.

Late night snack, well actually all evening, is tough for me. Plan as best you can. I used to keep a can of plain almonds by the bed for when I was feeling weak. LOL! Sometimes it just comes down to telling yourself "NO." But as sucky as that sounds, when you do it, there's a sense of accomplishment at knowing that you can…

More water. And what about adding a big salad, a basic one, to meals. But I do think 2lbs. is a pretty stiff order for the small amount you want to lose. And what about exercise to help you add a little intake without messing up your calories? Oh, and though I have more to lose than you do, I feel your pain. :(

That's what I do. I work until failure. Until I can't complete another rep. Maybe that's wrong. But it's what I do. Particularly with planking or free weights. But whatever you do, don't get discouraged. And DO NOT hurt yourself! :)

Congratulations and thank you for the inspiration!

That takes strength. It's fairly easy to deny ourselves. But having to deny someone we love is plain awful!

I really like this idea. In fact, I'm kind of on a mission to find healthy substitutes for my favorites. That said, though, there will probably always be a few foods that are just plain off the list. But I'm ok with that if it means I don't have to take medication to compensate for unhealthy eating.

Quit it. You're acting desperate. And THAT is the most unattractive quality of all. The guy told you straight up. You have your answer. After that, you're just wasting time. It's time to hitch up your britches and move on. I always hear that B.S. (I'm sorry but that's what it is) about loving a person for what's on the…

Wow! Great work!

"If I don't try again, then I've certainly failed." That's what I told my husband when he made the remark, "How many diets have you been on since I've known you?" He was trying to tell me that I was doing things wrong because obviously I hadn't succeed to date. It sounds harsh, but once I explained my point of view…

Congratulations! You're looking great!
