if you want to track your calories burned by lifting I use my garmin hrm with chest band to track my calories burned. maybe you can use yours as well.

Over 600 days straight. addicted to it. I had lost 50 pounds and then went to maintain mode and it didn't work for me and I regained some of my weight. I am now trying to get back down to 165 and stay there.

I have a garmin FR60 watch with chest strap and love it.

I love my garmin HRM and use it for all cardio, it is more accurate than MFP general calorie count. i swear by it.

I am active duy and we would never be told to try that diet, it is not safe. We have always been taught to do a lot of cardio and eat healthy, not low carbs.

I found running 25-30 miles a week and circuit training with 12-15 reps per exercise. I have gained muscle and lost weight at the same time. i was not looking to get huge just cut.

I will tell you what I did, I was obese, diagnosed with sleep apnea and had no energy. i started out by walking until i got a little more energy and lost some weight. i then started jogging and when i got tired I walked. i increased my didstance on a weekly basis. I log everything because of the other items I track for my food diary. cholesterol, fat etc.

I will be tracking everything, i always do and am in better health for it!! I have no free days. I will go for an xtra long run and earn some extra calories for the feast and football.

I sarted run in feb. I have run 5 10k's and am currently training for my first half marathon on 15 Dec. i run 4-6 miles 5 days a week and one long run a week. My longest distance is 11 miles. I am up for a friend request.

I tore my labrum little over a year ago doing flat bench, surgeon told me that doing flat bench was the worst thing I could do because you compinsate too much when muscle are not the same strength. Doc told me too use dumbells because it isolates muscle.

Took me about 14 weeks, Do cardio and weight training 6 days a week. totally changed diet. #1 soda gone.
