  • I'm planning on doing 100 cal increase daily for a week as well when I get to my goal weight until I'm at my maintenanceTDEE. I think that much should be fine. Increasing my workouts gives me hunger...
  • When you are in a relationship, you do have to be careful about one on one time with the opposite sex spent; however, every couple has to make those decisions for themselves. Bottom line is, EVEN IF YOU WERE (which I doubt) doing something inappropriate, it is NONE of your PARENT'S business. If I were you I would tell them…
  • ^This. Get our of your own head. We have all been there. :frown: Fight your fear, it will kill a relationship faster than anything. Good luck! :flowerforyou:
  • Just because you are a couple, doesn't mean you need to do every activity together. Sometimes going out on your own and growing as an INDIVDUAL can be healthy too. It's a balancing act. There is nothing weird or unhealthy about a person if they want some freaking time to themselves to do their own thing. It's called…
  • I personally would not be happy with 1/2 lbs a week but it may work for you. Remember if you go too slow you are going to get discouraged with "not losing anything" easily too. Keep that in mind: how hungry I want to be vs. how quickly do i need to see it come off so I don't get discouraged. It's a balancing act.…
  • 670 is a pound every five days, or 1 1/3 lbs a week.Healthy weight loss is 1-2 lbs a week. But the more you have to lose, the quicker they come off. 24 lbs to lose isn't a whole lot, but it's not barely any either..... If your goal is too difficult to stick with, I would up it to 1 lb a week. This is still a pretty good…
  • It took me 3-4 weeks to get used to my daily cal goal. Now I feel content with my calories. Glad to hear you are eating your cals back. What sort of defecit are you set at (500 cals from your TDEE)? Perhaps you are trying to lose to quickly; you don't have that much to lose (24 lbs on your profile), so you shouldn't be…
  • My bf doesn't like to work out with me because he says I "don't push him." We talked about it a bit and basically, it comes down to him being competitive and me not being able to compete with him( he is super ripped and in shape, and A MAN): if he is lifting with a man who is close to as strong as he is, he is going to…
  • I know there are lots of girls out there who have the same interests as traditionally male interests, but this type of thinking still makes me laugh anyway....."I want a chick who likes sports and farts and is messy and laughs at crude jokes..." Just date A DUDE then. Even though I happen to be a gamer. :embarassed: Just…
  • Stereotyping a nation (especially in a nasty, unflattering way) is quite ignorant and rude. It's saying things like this that makes other people think America is full of shallow, arrogent jerks. :frown: NOT COOL.
  • A woman who is liked by men and hated by women is NOT TO BE TRUSTED. It has NOTHING to do with looks. Girl has issues.
  • The latch is metal but it doesn't touch your skin. Everything else is plastic. Don't buy specialized things in stores silly goose: http://www.bodytronics.com/p/polar_heart_rate_monitors/POFT4 Shipped to your door, $62. BOOM.
  • quinoa.... I know it's healthy but I made a batch of it once and must have did it wrong because it was disgusting. Honestly even now when I think of it I want to wretch.
  • Polars are the best from what I have heart. I ADORE my Polar FT4, and it gives me calories burned. I reccomend you spend the money and get a good one.
  • Correction: 0.8 - 1.2 per KG (not lbs) of body weight (2.2 lbs in kg). :embarassed:
  • Hooray!!! That is terrific!!! KEEP IT UP!!!!!
  • Maybe you should have posted this topic on "Chit Chat, Fun and Games" Board....but: I'm not fat, I'm just BIG BONED. :drinker: (This always makes me laugh....but then kind of sad because that is what my mom used to tell me and I beleived her. )
  • Your hair probably thinned on its own, this happens to many people as they age. It doesn't make sense that thinning it did this, as far as your hair knows you just cut it shorter. So if that were true, every time you cut your hair it would get thinner and thinner until you went bald.
  • (if you aren't considerate of other people's feelings) Why not? :frown: It all comes down to respecting others, and being honest with yourself, and manning up. It comes down to alot of things I guess.
  • ^^THIS And sending a canned response like "I like your smile" doesn't count, and is just plain creepy.
  • Your omlete should have added 26 gs of protein, which have made your intake today over a hundred, which is something. I like Greek Yogurts for my protein...none of that sugared down stuff (chobani, yoplait, etc. etc.), but Fage 0% Plain has 20g protein for 150 cals. Kinda sour but you can put some honey in it if you need…
  • I have super curly hair too when I don't straighten it...it's lovely/gorgeous/etc, but I know what you are going through, sometimes it can be a bit much. I have my stylist thin mine- they just use a funny sissors that cuts some of the extra hair out so it isn't horse-tail thick. It makes it more manageable and it doesn't…
  • http://www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness/no-equipment-required-workout These have been getting my butt in shape. Love it because there is no equipment!!!
  • Applesauce & cheese sticks are sure fire kids snacks. And great for adults too
  • LOVE IT. Might have to use this one. At a certain point, it's like why do people feel like they have the right to offer their opinion about your appearance? If I told someone I had a hair cut appointment, it would be considered rude for them to be like "YOU CAN NOT CUT YOUR HAIR IT LOOKS GOOD NOW!!! IF YOU CUT IT, IT WILL…
  • Not really, but a hug is always nice. I just can't handle people being discrimnatory.
  • What a bunch of femenist bull crap. If tearing others (men) down makes you feel better about yourself, that's just sad.
  • It's all relative. That's like saying you hate a tall woman because she "gets to eat more than you." That's just now it works; men can eat more because they NEED more. No need to blame being female on your difficulties. OR BEING OLD (one of my peeves). My mom is the same height as me and on MFP and she was trying to tell…
  • WOW!!! :noway: Fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up!!! :drinker:
  • Yes. Your stomach, I can start to see a sixer coming. Your hips, right below your butt...this is where my weight carries too, but I notice you have lost alot of fat there. And if I didn't notice, I wouldn't speak up. Nice work! Keep it up woman! You are making great progress!
