Ive sent a request :) love my misfit ray. I just wish there was some interaction like fitbit has. Like daily, weekly competitions, a chat feature. You just get to see your rank against your friends daily, no weekly summary.

I find it to be very accurate. You can trust its numbers. Been using fitbit for a couple of years now. :)

Hi, not that it helps for a workout buddy but i'm in Brantford,on. If you're looking to add friends FR me. My friends list has shrunk over the past year. Many no longer log on. I'd love some extra motivation.

There is no MFP app for the Blackberry Z10. So now I have to use the browser to access it from the interwebs and internets

I do 450-550 on a 30min but I often stay on for a whole tv show 45-60 then my burn is upwards to 800-900. I measure with a heart rate monitor and basically shoot for 150-160 bpm which is the same as when I'm at cruising speed when I cycle.

Basically if you set your activity level to sedentary on mfp then fitbit will adjust your required calories according as you move up to lite active or active. Fitbit actually tracks how active you are so this is more accurate than just an arbitrary guess when you simple select a higher activity level in MFP

I have always enjoyed an elliptical workout. I like that you can have a great cardio cross country skiing type stride then by raising the slope completely change the muscle groups you are working. Also with higher resistance you can use your arms and your core to keep your pace up. I work out every morning on my…

If you enter exercise in mfp it will look at he time and not include fitbit for that time. I.E. I've had fitbit calorie adjustments that are removed once I add my exercise data. The way I do it is I wear my fitbit all day and if I do some cardio I wear my heart rate monitor. I log my heart monitor call burn for my exercise…

I was going to say don't sweat it but you're profile ticker is correct "sweat is fat crying" so keep up your workouts. Increase your activity when ever you can i.e. take the stairs, walk when you can don't drive. Stay the course and you will get results. Follow the MFP standard guidelines for now. Operate at a calorie…

I don't know how to do all that gif *kitten* with my playbook but Cupcake, I hope you're having a great Birthday! All the best from your old bugger canuck friend ;)

I wear my fitbit every day. I've had it a year. I linked my fitbit account to a site called earndit and my activity collects points I can donate to charity and other things. There are challenges you can enroll in too that help keep you motivated. Been a great device. I do cardio with my HR monitor and wear fitbit all other…

I'm a fitbit user and love it. I use it for tracking daily activity and let the fitbit calorie adjustment tell me where I stand for my required calorie intake. I also use the Fitbit Aria scale. All work really well with MFP.. I wear a HR monitor for cardio exercise. They should have a slogan "Fitbit-Don't leave home…

I workout on my elliptical almost every day. I use the Livestrong LS10.0e. It is an awesome machine. Great quality and great support from Livestrong. Mine was a demo model and need a couple of things repaired. They put a tech right in my house and replaced everything. Telephone support is all from North America (USA). It…

You do burn a ton of calories riding a bike. Also, your burn is higher when you're not in the best shape because you're body is working harder. For example, If you rode for 10 at 12 MPH your heart rate might have been averaging 170-180. Doing the same ride once you've conditioned your body you might find your average heart…

There is a new one called mio alpha that doesn't require a chest strap But it's not cheap at $199. It's the only one I'm aware of that doesn't need a chest strap and provides real time HR. I'm considering replacing my Suunto but it has been a great monitor. http://www.alphaheartrate.com/#product

Netflix while doing cardio. I watch thriller/action stuff. It's funny but I have noticed I'm kicking it harder when there is action stuff going on in the show.....

That's cool. I've been doing some of the nike+ on 360. Great workout and like you said, the live feedback is great to correct your form and pace.

I currently use a Suunto T3D that requires a chest strap. I'm thinking about a new one called mio alpha that doesn't require a chest strap. I'm considering replacing my Suunto. http://www.alphaheartrate.com/#product BTW what are you doing with the xbox?

Here is the link that explains it. It looks like they have two systems that work together. It reads by way of sensors and a light technology on the back of the watch. I think it some how measures blood flow. They also have a separate system that senses arm movement so I can tell the difference increased blood flow because…

Sounds like you're talking about the MIO Alpha. I've been looking at it but still doing fine with my Suunto. It connects to different iPhone apps with bluetooth so you can get your HR data at specific times in your workout i.e. climbing a hill when cycling.
