I have man-calves also. I have learned to love them since I've never been able to figure out how to slim them down. They are pure muscle and my husband, who has freakishly skinny calves (*kitten*...) envies mine. I embrace high heels and skirts and try to imagine that in some unfortunate situation they might serve me well…

Renegage boob = from OP...I have problems 1 and 3 at my gym. Drives me insane - particularly the staring. Dude, I'm working out. Please save your Chester the Molester leer for the bars.

I'm late in seeing this, but it's just what I need - I'm in! CW - 164.9 GW - 145 I am going to try to get up earlier for a longer dog walk and I also will be avoiding any "cheat" days. Feel free to add me - anyone! If you do, remind me that you are doing this challenge. :)

I agree - much harder once you are out of school, and even more difficult when everyone starts having families. Have to find other ways, and get used to a smaller, closer group of friends/peers.

Welcome! Best of luck to you. This site is a great tool. Friend request sent.

Getting motivated can be tough...I think it's better to set small goals for yourself so you succeed and keep going, rather than being too ambitious, failing and losing motivation. Try to set just one (reasonable) fitness goal for yourself for the week and maybe your success at accomplishing that will motivate you to set…

I sent you an add. Welcome, and best of luck to you!

Welcome! I think you're goals are awesome. I did C25K and G28K programs and have been contemplating training for a half marathon. Good luck to you! I'll send you an add...

"Like" and agree...unfortunately, many people find it easier to drive thru than to plan ahead and cook for 15 minutes...Sad.

It is a great site! I love it. I've lost 38 pounds, largely after I started using MFP. I have about 25 more to go. Good luck to you, and feel free to add me if you want any motivation (even though I'm not from the UK.) :)

My right knee is killing me...had to do a lot of modifiers this morning. I think this workout is really hard, but I'm also glad week 2 is done...hated the cardio in plank and never felt like I was doing the ab hold correctly. I'm hoping I'll improve as the week goes on...So happy to be half way through it!
-
I'm right there with you. I keep thinking my arms/hands are maybe too far back....??? Don't know, but I'm not getting that right. I'm really struggling with the plank stuff also...I don't have the strength yet. BUT, I'm sticking with it! Week 2, day 4 done. Tomorrow is my "off" day. Finish week 2 on Sat/Sun, then on to…
-
I just finished week 1 and previewed week 2....I'm so nervous....you're message confirms my fears! Lol! Congrats to you for continuing on...we can do this!
-
Congratulations to you! What a great accomplishment, very inspiring!

I wondered the same about the timing. I decided to do 6 days of each workout before moving onto the next one. One more day to go for week 1 - I'm a little behind due to a particularly grueling work week...14 hour days forced me to take two days off from all working out...Ugh. Back at it today!
-
Fantastic! You'll be buying new "skinny" style suits in no time. :drinker:

Two days down for week 1. I'm about to do day 3. I'm also thinking of taking a day off in the middle - Thursday. So far, I like it.
