48 and need to drop about 15lbs. Once upon a time I was meticulous about exercise and eating habits. Got completely off track and gained 23lbs (which is a lot when you are short!) Logged in today with the decision that I must get back on track if I want to continue to be active as I get older.

4'11 3/4 here. :) It's amazing how just 5lbs can put me in a different clothing size.

3000 miles on the bike since last April when I started riding.

I love lifting weights and not at all afraid of becoming "bulky"

Congratulations on your first century! I did a two day century over the weekend and it was a blast. Isn't riding your bike just the best ever? :)

I got my navel pierced years ago when I reached my goal weight.

Hi Karen! I'm 45 and know exactly what you mean about the body changing as we get older. Feel free to send a request if you like. Btw, I think you look great! :)

Just last weekend. Used hot soapy dish detergent and then used a degreaser on the chain/cassette. I had forgotten that my chain and cassette was grey. lol!

I'm just under 5' and know how difficult it is to lose weight. Gaining 5 pounds means going up one clothing size! I'm pretty much at goal now but if I lost another 5 pounds I would be fine with that. :)

Hi! I'm 45 and pretty much at goal weight now with the help of MFP.

Great pics! I love seeing all the different bikes and kits.

I have Look pedals and they are sometimes a pain to get into when the light turns green. I may try Speedplays for my next bike. I rode for a couple of months with cages before getting clipless. I did have a learning curve and have fallen a couple of times. No biggie, just get back on and ride! :)

Banana, Fig Newtons, and usually carry a Clif Bar if needed.

I ride about 400 miles a month. I see lots of female riders in the Louisville area.

I vote for the Trek FX series bike. Great bike for the money and will hold up for miles and miles.
