I agree to go see a doctor about your thyroid if you suspect something. I thought I had hypothyroidism (weight gain, intolerant of cold temperatures, fatigue), but my labs came back within normal limits. Not gonna knock you on calorie intake, but I suggest a nutritionist.

Hmmm. Have you been to a physician or a nutritionist? You might have a high metabolism OR maybe there's an underlying problem like maybe Crohn's where you don't absorb nutrients properly in your intestinal tract. You may also need to pay attention to what kinds of foods you're eating. Maybe eat more protein & fats vs.…

Hi there, could you clarify something? Was your blood work lipid panel a fasting one? One thing I learned rounding with doctors is that triglycerides can read very high if it's not a fasting level. Edit: Derp, totally missed the part where you said you fasted for 11 hours. But yeah, levels can be off if you've eaten…

I eat something if I'm hungry. Some low calorie snacks I eat are sugarfree jello, fudgsicle pops, nonfat greek yogurt, rice cakes or berries. If you feel like snacking, but you're not actually hungry, try drinking water or warm beverages like tea, broth, or hot chocolate.

To answer the question about the vitamins. Vitamin A is fat soluble so it gets stored in your body. Extensive amounts can have harmful effects. Vitamin C is water soluble so if you get too much, you just pee it out.

Don't feel too bad. 3.5 hotdogs really isn't a binge. I'm 5' and my usual binge was something like 7 doughnuts, 2 candy bars, half a pizza, and half a box of cereal... at dinnertime on top of the calories I had eaten that day. Yeaaah.... last month was a bad month for me. I undid 50% of my weightloss within one month.…

I'm currently in the same boat. I had lost 25lbs on a 1200cal/day diet in the previous year, obsessively calorie counting, weighing foods, and cutting out junky foods for the most part. For the past couple of months though, I've been binge eating on carbs like crazy (cereal and candy especially). My triggers seem to be…

I'm 5' even and my goal is 105lbs. >__________> I've been stuck at 107+lbs for the past 3 months.

Hey guys, most antidepressants can cause weight gain, however everyone is different. Wellbutrin (Bupropion) is an antidepressant that can actually help you lose weight, but again, everyone is different. Talk to your doc about options if weight gain is a big concern for you. Edit: People who are talking about cutting down…

Try taking some fish oil capsules

Weight gain can be a side effect of any birth control. You could go talk to your doc about maybe trying a different birth control. You basically have to do trial and error because the same birth control may cause weight gain in some and not in others.

Just keep at it until you find something that works for you. Your food diary would starve me and i eat 1200 cals a day. Maybe try eating more soy products to add more protein in your diet. I love edamame, which comes in steam-in-bags now.

think of it this way: you could eat something wayyy more nutritious and filling for less calories. 4 mcnuggets= 190cal. and that's not even close to filling. i can put away 20 of those easy. anytime i get a craving for frozen food or junk food, i think about what i can eat instead that would have more quantity with the…
