  • This happens to me, too. I work Tues-Sat, and on Mondays I usually make a crockpot something for my lunches. Package it all up and everything. But honestly, by Friday, sometimes I sooooo don't want to eat it anymore! I open the fridge and think "Shoot...guess it's yogurt and saltines for me!" (Note to self...restock office…
  • Sounds like you need to bring more to work. I was finding myself going to the vending machines more often then thought "Wait...I can save money AND plan my snacks if I just bring them!" Plan for snacks. I literally surround myself with them. I have an orange and an apple on my desk every day for snacks; laughing cow…
  • I am a compulsive overeater. When my dad died (13 years ago now, I was 24) I was in a very bad place. I was just living in a fog. I honestly don't remember a lot of that first year--which is scary when I think about it--but I do remember eating a whole bag of Starburst jelly beans just about every day. A whole bag. Every…
  • I've always been overweight, but never had any problems until recently. My cholesterol was high, like scary-high. I'm only 37, and it scared me. Come to find out it was a bad test and my numbers weren't as high as initially reported, but the thought of it made me sick to my stomach. I have a great husband and 2 wonderful,…
  • I've been hypo. since I was 10 years old (I'm almost 38 now). It can be done, I just find it to be very slow compared to others. Exercise and water make the difference between weight loss and weight gain for me.
  • I don't eat after dinner, whatever time that may be. I find that if I eat after dinner I'm not hungry but either bored or tired, and will just go to bed! :)
  • Nice job!! You know what I noticed different in your pictures?? You're wearing fun, pretty dresses now!! :) NICE!!
  • Super job!! You're an inspiration! (And your daughter is a little dolly, too!! :) )
  • Nice job!! ps...I love your kitty cat photobombing your after picture!!
  • Nice job!! I'm sure you'll be stunning on your special day! (Your dress maker/seamstress is going to HATE you, btw!!  ) Keep it up!!
  • I'm proud of myself today because I went out last night to a birthday party and only had a cup of coffee (I ate dinner beforehand on purpose, hehe!), and I went for a long walk today on my lunchbreak! Yay ME!!! :glasses:
  • Hmmm...tough question! I LOVE my crockpot, I use it at least once a week. We also use our Foreman, too. Makes great paninis! I hope you can get BOTH!!
  • I've been eating the same breakfast for a while and it's been working for me: 1c of cheerios, 1c skim milk, banana, cup of coffee. You could sort of split this up, something like munch on some cheerios first, then eat a banana, then some milk, etc. ??
  • Nice job, mama!! Keep up the good work!
  • AWESOME!!! I can't wait to get to a new "decade"! You're an inspiration for me this morning, thank you! NICE WORK!! :)
  • I had to limit eggs, ice cream and peanut butter. Eggs because of my cholesterol (and I use to eat them every day), pb and ice cream because they are trigger foods for me. I can have them on my treat days, but otherwise I don't have them. So far it is just fine.
  • You're inspiring!!! Nice job!! :)
  • I'm in! I <3 power knees!!!
  • Great job, everyone!! YAY US!! :) I'm proud of myself today because: I got right back on track after my treat day yesterday; I had a goal to drink 100oz of water today and I'm just now finishing that (and it's not even 6pm!); I went for a walk at lunch and I'm still planning on going on the treadmill tonight; And I have…
  • Thank you for this post, I needed this!! I feel like going home after work and just sitting, BUT I will get on my damn treadmill not because I want to but because I have to. Thanks for the swift kick in the butt, ladies!! :smooched:
  • I WAS eating too much peanut butter, or at least according to my nutritionist. Booo!!!! :P
  • I had high cholesterol about 9-12 months ago. I was told by the dr. that I had to start tracking my food, saturated fats in particular. Only 8 per day...which doesn't sound like it'd be hard but it's HARD. So I track my sat. fats(<8/day), cholesterol (<200/day) and calories (~1200/day). I cut out eggs completely (which was…
  • I make a crockpot of soup or chili once a week and eat that almost all week for lunches. I also buy bulk veggies and fruits and prep them into 5 containers for the week so I just have to grab and go. Making it easy to grab makes a world of difference to me!
