Great job! Thanks for sharing!

Same thing happened to me the first time I tried to loose with MFP. I didn't see the point of adding friends. This is now my 32nd day and my longest streak ever, so it definitely helped me to have friends!
-
Hey there welcome! I am 40 yo been on here for 31 days now! Feel free to add me!
-
I changed my mfp to lightly active and my adjustments are a little less now, but still higher than I think they should be. I am still just eating my goal in mfp and ignoring my adjustments for now. I will reevaluate it in a couple of weeks and see if it's working.

Nothing aside from the normal everyday walking, I don't even do any extra walking. BMR is 1622
-
I think maybe it's because I changed my activity level to light activity in mfp. Could that be the reason the adjustments have gone down?
-
Oh I see it...it was already on disabled.

[/quote] Make sure calorie adjustments are off on the FitBit (settings - preferences), especially if you're taking your FitBit off. Those are really high burns. Are you logging your exercises in both places? I only log exercises that FitBit can't measure - and I log them on MFP. So yoga, weight lifting, stretching are all…
-
Agreed! I am having the opposite problem, it seems that fitbit is giving me more than mfp!
-
Yes I agree it's delicious!

My double chin is a single chin! I'm only down 8lbs but I can already tell a difference! My 20 year old son told me I looked thinner. I love reading these stories and can't wait to have more of my own nsv's!

You look AMAZING!!! Thanks for sharing!

I think I have it figured out a little better now. My mfp and fitbit were not set up the same I adjusted my mfp to be closer to my fitbit and now it seems a little more accurate. Thanks for the help!
-
I changed my mfp to lightly active and it is closer to what I've been burning on fitbit. I can't seem to find the settings on fitbit to check the calorie deficit.
-
I'm not really sure. I have my mfp set to sedentary and a custom calorie goal and I'm not sure on my fitbit. I'm going to look and see. Thanks for your help!

The thing is I haven't done anything except my normal routine of getting ready for work and coming to the office and I already have a credit of 192.
-
Excellent job! You can definitely tell a difference in your back and arms!
-
I don't take stairs and I definitely don't run lol. I checked my MFP and my projected cal burn is 2100, my fitbit is 2583. Could that be why my fitbit cal adj are so big?
-
That's great! What a huge loss in 100 days! I hope I'm there when I hit 100!
-
I don't wear a watch so I wear on my left, but you can go into settings somewhere and set it to dominate hand.
-
OMG Seriously blew my mind! Thank you for posting! What an inspiration!
-
https://www.fitbit.com/user/2XL3V8 I just got my fitbit and I need friends!
-
Yay! That's a great accomplishment!
-
You look great! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I totally understand how you imagine yourself looking smaller than you are, then you see a picture and it's such an eye opener. Great job!!

Thanks again for all the advice here! I am going on 15 days and had a few hiccups along the way but keep on doing the best I can. I have to say it has gotten so much easier too. I still sometimes feel hungry but I think it's more a mental habit of always having to snack on something. I am slowly adjusting to this and I…

Haha I almost forgot about the Cheetohs! I could not go one more day without them! I ate half of what I would have eaten before and was thrilled that I had some self control!
-
YES! I do the same thing! :) It's a little like sticking to a budget!
-
I'm on day 11 now and doing pretty well! It is really amazing when you think about all the calories you mindlessly take in when your not accountable to yourself. That's what I love about MFP is that it makes you aware, also the fact that I can eat whatever I want as long as I keep my calories in check. That being said, I…

You look incredible! What a great motivation!
