I was saying that every time I lost weight previously I was still in the overweight category. This is the first time I've lost weight and gotten out of that.

I hadn't noticed that before. Thank you!

Thanks for the compliments!

I, like many others have said, have noticed your posts and progress pics since I joined back in February. You have been one of my biggest inspirations for lifting and eating back exercise calories. Thank you for inspiring so many of us!

Amazing transformation!!! Congratulations on the new you!

That's so great!! Definitely give it a try! It took me about 3 classes before I could feel like I was on even half of the time. LOL.

"Brokenhearted" was the song. We do a lot of pop songs which I love.

It depends on your age I think. I'm 30 and around 162 is the Max for my workout target zone according to my HRM. Not that my heart can't go faster, that's just my range to try to stay in.

WOW!!! Great job!

Thank you for sharing your truly inspirational story!! You are amazing and look great! It's those low times when it would be so easy to go back to old habits that we show who we truly are, and you rose above!! CONGRATS!!!

The exact thread for lifting inspiration I've been looking for! AMAZING results!!!

Bump. Would love to hear an answer, too.

I'm 5'4" 142 lbs and my HRM says I burn anywhere from 166 to 225 for 30ds including warmup and cool down. It depends on the level and how hard I push it. I just started RI30 and so far it's right around 250. Unfortunately a HRM is the only way to know your burn for sure but this will give you and idea. I log it as circuit…

Only on day 2 so obviously no results yet, but my sore glutes and sides say it's doing somethin'!

Great results!!!

I did it in February 6 days a week for 30 workouts, each level 10 times. I lost 9 lbs in that time frame of just over a month. I did other cardio maybe 2-3 times a week with it, usually zumba on the wii. Since then I do it every other workout (still working out 6 days a week) and do some cardio the other days. I'm pretty…

Beautiful!!!!

You're hard work is definitely paying off! You're beautiful by the way!
-
You look great! Good work!

Thanks everyone for the support and encouragement!!:flowerforyou: I have to add I showed these pictures to my kids to show them "Hey, look why Mommy's been working out so hard!" When I asked if they could see a difference, my 7-year-old said, "You got taller!" And my 4-year-old said, "Your hair is different I think."…
-
Definitely a difference. It's always hard to see in yourself, but you're looking great!
-
Thanks for all the kind words! They mean a lot!
-
Good for you for continuing to go on your own even when your friend quit! You're doing great! Congrats!

Just posted this in another thread, but here you go! 5'4" 2/9/12: 171.8 lbs (first before photo I have, but I started higher) 7/10/12: 144.6 lbs Still have more work to do!

Zumba for me. On the Wii or in a class.

I just got on the boards to ask the same question. I'm headed to a water park this afternoon with the kids and wanted to know the calorie burn. Sounds like wearing it there should be safe but perhaps not totally accurate. As long as it's not going to ruin it I guess it's worth a try!
