I'm doing zumba 2-3 days a week for an hour. I was doing heavy lifting plus Zumba before getting pregnant, but stopped lifting just from pure exhaustion around 2 months. I'm 22.5 weeks now and having to pull back on my efforts at zumba since I'm getting contractions and round ligament pain every time. I'm trying to just go…

Love it!

I eat when I'm hungry even though it means I go over a lot. My midwife says my weight gain is perfect so far so I guess it's okay. I figure now more than ever is the time to listen to what my body needs.

First trimester I didn't gain more than a pound. I'm 21 weeks now and up about 12 lbs. It's sneaking on me fast lately. Gotta put those chocolates down. :frown:

I have had 3 epidurals now. 2 were good, 1 wasn't. With my first, I labored at home for 12 hours before going to the hospital with contractions 2 min apart. I was about 4-5 cm when I got there and immediately got the epidural. The man who placed it was AMAZING. The only part that hurt was getting area numbed, and that's…

I set MFP to maintainance the first trimester, so about 1700 calories for me plus exercise calories. Now that I'm in my 2nd tri, I set it to gain 1/2 lb per week, so a little over 2000 for me. I'm thoroughly enjoying those extra calories! I'm 19 weeks and I've gained about 8lbs so far I think.

Amen sister! It drives me crazy when someone ( like my overweight mom) says they don't have any extra time to exercise. We're all busy and we're all given the same 24 hours in a day. It's about making it happen!!

Luckily I really wasn't that sick this pregnancy and I'm well past that stage now. I always do need to drink more water though. I had 2 kidney stones during my last pregnancy and dehydration was possibly partially to blame. I really should be better at carrying a water bottle around with me.

Absolutely inspirational! Congrats on keeping it off!

Beautiful transformation!

I'm really glad this was posted because I honestly didn't know it was normal to have it affect my exercise like this! This is my 4th baby and I knew all the added blood supply stuff, but this is my first pregnancy at a healthy weight and working out. I've been really frustrated with myself at Zumba class because it used to…

Amazing job! Congrats!

Baby 1 @ 19 weeks (anterior placenta) Baby 2 @ 14 weeks (posterior placenta) Baby 3 @ 16 weeks (anterior placenta) Baby 4 @ 15 weeks (posterior placenta) It seems like 20+ weeks can be pretty normal especially for a first time mom and even more so if your placenta is in front.

I never took any meds for it. Before baby#1 I worked out frequently and changed my diet some. The second time I lost was from diet changes alone. Before baby #3 I lost by working out 30 mins 3-4 times a week and eating smaller portions. Before getting pregnant this time was my biggest loss by counting calories, working out…

Looks like you're well on your way to a healthier you! Good luck with everything!

I agree! I wouldn't wish it on an enemy!

That's crazy your doctor never even mentioned weight loss as a treatment! It really can help for many people. I had read even losing 10% of your weight can make a difference. I'm so sorry it's been 6 years already. I have a sister with different fertility issues who eventually got pregnant after 8 years and 2 miscarriages.…

You're so tiny still!! WOW! I'm 18weeks with #4 as well.

Bumping for someone.

Love that you did this together! Having support makes a big difference. You both are beautiful!

I either have cereal with skim milk or 3 egg whites with a bowl of instant oatmeal. It's the same thing I had before getting pregnant. It's my eating after dinner that's gone to pot for me. I get so hungry at night!

You're absolutely stunning! Way to go!
-
Fantastic job! Really, you are looking GREAT!!

Thanks for all the congrats! And I'm glad that some of you can take hope from this.

Thought I'd add myself to the list here! I'm due mid June with baby #4. I have one boy and this will be our 3rd girl. I lost 40 lbs before getting pregnant with MFP and was in the healthy BMI range for the first time since junior high. Our other kids took at least a year or more to conceive due to PCOS but this one…

What a story! Thanks so much for sharing! I love the self-esteem shining through in you now. You're a great example!

"You just feel like that because you're pregnant" or "It's just your hormones talking." Okay, whether my hormones are making me feel this way or not, I still feel like this. Don't make my feelings seem less valid by saying it's just my hormones. And sometimes what you say is going to irritate me whether I'm pregnant or not…

Truly amazing! You look great! Way to get back into life, and what a great example you are to your kids!

I renewed mine just last summer and said I weighed 160 when I was really 170+. Now I'm at 136. My goal is to keep the weight off so that next renewal I won't be ashamed to put down my real weight.

30DS worked great for me. I lost 9 lbs in just over a month when I did it every workout day. It's just after 6 or so months of doing that it gets pretty dull. I wanted to heavy lift instead but didn't get things lined up for that until the end of July. 30DS is a great way to get started and see some great results! Just…
