Thanks everyone for all their well wishes! Surgery went well, he fixed a hiatal hernia when he was in there as well. I got home yesterday and have been doing good. I am trying to get all my fluids in and tomorrow I start with the protein. Only issue I am having is keeping the pain medicine down, it gives me really bad…

I just had my pre-op yesterday, I have surgery next Thursday. My surgeon gave me a work off order for 3 weeks. I am sure I will not need that much but I will take the rest.

I had H. Pylori at the start of my mandated classes for the surgery. I took the antibiotics and it cleared it up. My doc had me send in another sample about 2 weeks ago and I no longer showed the infection.

I really want to thank everyone for taking time out of your day to give some advice. It is a very important decision, I have been thinking about it a lot the last couple of days and I think I am fully decided on the Sleeve. However, I have yet to meet with the actual surgeon and hear their opinion.

Wow that is really surprising only 30% they speak about it in class as if it affects 100% of RNY patients. As I am not a sweet person at all the dumping did not factor into a positive light. Perhaps if they stopped me from snacking on salty stuff I would lol

Hi everyone I am new to this group. My name is Liset and I am 28, I was born and raised in southern California with a couple of years in the Bay Area for college. I am in the process of getting WLS. I am getting my surgery through Kaiser and they require me to complete a 12 week course. I start my first class next Tuesday.…

Do you have netflix? They have some workouts up on there in their watch instantly section. Some of the moves are little difficult at this size but I do what I can. It's not fun but it will be fun when we loose the weight!!!

Rachel I know exactly how you feel my goal is so far away that it is easy to get discouraged. The last two weeks have been crazy for me. I had tons and tons of writing to do for school and I neglected my gym routine. Most of the time that would have been the excuse I needed to stop the weight loss plan. This time that is…

I am tired of missing out on things because I know that my weight will be in the way. For example, my family went to Cancun…

Hi Ladies-I'm so happy that I was able to find this group. I have a little over 200lbs to loose and discussing weight loss with someone who is struggling with 15lbs is not my idea of a fun time. I am a full time grad student and I just want to be healthy. I want to not worry about my size at every turn. I want to take…
