I started at 282 and am now at 189. I'm between 5'7" and 5'8". Started in tight size 20 pants, the ones in my "now" picture are size 10. I have about 30 lbs. more to go to get to my goal of 160.

Olive oil. It works wonderfully!

my goal is to keep doing what I've been doing. August was a rough month because we had so many things going on which involved food. September should be better: Nothing on the agenda! Keep working out for 40 minutes each morning (stationary bike and elliptical), keep watching my calories and my sodium intake.

Hello, I'm Bonnie. I started at 282 in January of 2012. Lost 44, gained back 30, started again at 268 in January 2013. Now I weight 189, and have about another 30 to lose. Really want to lose it by the end of the year. I'd love to finally weight less than my husband, who weighed 277 in January and has been holding steady…

I'm in. I've lost 93 so far, and still have close to 30 to lose. Would love to get there by Christmas.

click on "find members" and look for some MFPers close to where you live with similar goals. Maybe you'll make some friends near you who will inspire your healthy lifestyle.

My husband is a "nice guy" and I never friendzoned him. We were introduced by mutual friends who just thought I needed to go out and have some fun. I had just gotten out of a 9 year abusive marriage and "nice", "patient", and "kind" were just what I was looking for. I fell for him immediately.

I set a 10 lb. goal every month, and usually lose 8 or 9. It's too daunting to focus on losing 120 lbs! Now I'm 30 lbs overweight instead of 120 lbs. overweight, so every pound is a victory.

I have people who know me call me "too skinny" all the time. My sister even used the word "anorexic". I am 5'8" and weigh 192 lbs as of this morning. I am far from skinny, I am still 30 lbs. overweight, according to the weight chart, and my bmi is 29.65. They are delusional. I just chalk it up to the fact that they are not…

Working on my dad's commercial fishing boat off the Oregon coast, when I was 15 and 16. I got paid 3% of the profits.

I weigh every day, and chart my progress. Usually a spike in my weight is salt-related and it takes 2-3 days to drop back down, but all I have to do is look at the graph of my progress to remind myself that my weight always comes back down. Hang in there.

I use my heart rate monitor. MFP can give me a calorie estimate when I use the elliptical, however the figures in the database have no variance for whether I am going at a nice easy pace or if I'm really pushing myself at the highest level and a faster speed. It wasn't expensive, either. It was $50 at Costco, and it's been…

When I started at 282, it took about 30 lbs to lose a pants size. It seems the more I lost, the smaller the intervals between sizes. Now it seems like every 10-15 lbs I drop a pants size. Hang in there. I've gone from tight 20s to comfortable 12s.

Good job! And thanks for posting Day 21. I forgot.

I go off my heart rate monitor. The numbers on my machine are super low, the MFP numbers are pretty close to the HRM if I do an easy workout, but if I'm really pushing myself, the HRM registers a much higher calorie burn.

My weekend was busy! Motorcycle ride to Spokane, grandson's graduation party, son's birthday, and father's day.

Because my husband is eating the same foods and working out with me every morning. Last year it was really hard when he was eating every unhealthy thing under the sun and I was trying to stick with the program. In January he found out he was diabetic and had high blood pressure, so he decided things had to change. It…

150 done. 3 sets of 50.

I'm noticing more stamina too, and I'm already seeing more definition in my arms. Yay!

We watch what we eat pretty closely, but when we went on vacation a couple of weeks ago my daughter and her girlfriend had an itinerary planned for us that pretty much centered around great places to eat in Kansas City. We pretty much ate our weight in food (and I mean thousands of calories every day). We were expecting to…

Great job! My husband did just about the same, going from 277 on January 18 to 195 this morning, so I KNOW how hard you worked to get where you are! Congrats!

125 done!

I use mine every morning without using my arms. It took a little practice, but it works my legs harder and it makes it easier to watch my posture.

Good job to everyone, no matter what your numbers are. Progress is progress. You are the only one keeping track!

100 done! Modified, 60/20/20
