  • *hugs* a day at a time. a slip is not a fall. take each day as a new chance to dedicate yourself to your goals. give yourself permission to have bad days. that way they dont depress you. in fact, i'd even say set up some "cheat" days along the way. if everything is forbidden, they become more tempting and harder to resist.…
  • Good for you Ang!!
  • "Road work" or intense cardio (45 minutes or over) has helped when I hit weight loss plateaus. Some people swear by calorie cycling or zigzagging when in a plateau. Good luck! Nothing like a plateau to make one feel unmotivated. Hang in there! You can do it!
  • I'm 4'11.5" with a 19 month old daughter. I TOTALLY understand what you mean about the scale! It's so hard to get the darn thing to move, and when it does, it's hard to see the difference! And of course people freak out when they find out your goal weight because they totally don't take height into consideration :P. I'm…
  • Wow!! People are looking AMAZING!! Soon I too will be an after! Just give me five more pounds ;).
  • Congrats on the half marathon! I need to be more like you! Take an easy and don't hurt yourself further! :) You ran more that day then i did almost my whole vaca... lol! We're rocking along!

  • Oh! What a great idea!! Count me in! 1) Lose 5 lbs. 2) Consume under calorie goal. 3) Work out at least one hour every day. 4) Take the stair at work everyday (unless I'm going somewhere with my coworkers... they refuse to climb up and down 6 flights of stairs) 5) Walk Leah (my doggie daughter) at least twice a day…
  • What an *kitten*. I would say report him unless the reporting process is just going to add more stress to your life right now. Ultimately you need to do what's right for you. *hugs*
  • It's definitely possible. My little one is 18 months and I've mostly gotten my old body back. Tummy's kind of hard due to loser skin (nothing dramatic that anyone but me can tell but definitely "looser" then it use to be). Body fat is what will be the biggest factor against getting your old belly back. That and…
  • Sorry team! I'll b better once I'm home from vaca! Promise!!
  • 4'11.5" and 30 years old. Fun size shortie checking in ;). I'm completely addicted to MFP and always up for more support and supporting more people!
  • I'm from the south where y'all is part of every day conversation. I've actually NEVER heard it used in reference to only one person as it stands for "you all". I'm currently stationed in upstate NY and "yous" (or however it's properly written) is quite common. When visiting my Canadian cousins they like to give me a hard…

  • I'm 4'11.5". Just recently adjusted my weight goal down to 100. Trying to overshoot by just a couple of pounds as I know that food tends to be a comfort during stressful times for me. With planning a wedding and changing job (moving from AD to civilian lifestyle in the same career field) I know there are some stressors…
  • Hi! 30 years old, just under 5 feet, and single mother to a beautiful 19 month old daughter (I'm not bias at all... lol!). Have a completely sedentary job that has only been verified by my fitbit ultra. I'm down to trying to lose my last five pounds both to get rid of my post baby body and to make my fiance cry at our…
  • 4"11.5" ;). Totally addicted to MFP. Free free to add me if you need additional "fun size" support.
  • Sorry Everyone! As I've been on call for the last week and a half, I've not been a very good host. I'll be sure to update all the numbers sometime this week! Great work everyone towards hitting our 365 goal!

  • Lol! It's kept me motivated to do a couple of hours on the elliptical a day. I want to know what happens! I like the Tamora Pierce if your into young adult fantasy. I think her first series is called "song of the lioness" but she's been writing for a while so she has several series.
  • Don't forget the cutoff for this weeks miles to tonight!
  • Take time off! Heal!! Your health is more important! I hope your feel better for your marathon!
  • Don't forget the cutoff for this weeks miles to tonight!
  • Love the V. My favorite part on a guy and think girls can totally rock it. And muscles have nothing to do with it. Don't like my guys too big but still love the V. I've seen skinny people rocking the v too. It's more genetics and body fat percentage not necessarily muscle mass.
  • Love reading on the elliptical! I just finished the Hunger Games and moved on to the second book in the series, Catching Fire. I'm trying to save the book for only workout times to give me a little encouragement and treat for going long on the machines :). LOVE the series so far! Edit: Go Dawgs! That's my alma mater! :).…
  • Great job in just one year!!
