1200 is the absolute minimum NET calories you should be consuming. MFP assumes you will be eating your exercise calories back. I have mine set at 1900 :)

My gym is my shed so chickens are outside. My chickens :P

Is this healthy? Will this improve my health? I want to be around to see all my babies grow up and get married and have babies of their own. I lost my mom when I was 17 and I don't want my kids to go through that.

I reward myself with new workout duds. I love getting new workout tees and tanks. Bottoms, not so much. I'm small on top and big on bottom so squeezing my ghetto booty in bottoms is rough ;)

FRd you :)

I weigh myself once a week and measure biweekly, I feel like it gives me more accurate info.
-
I count tea and the water I use in my protein shake but I don't count coffee.
-
Sounds like you customized your calorie goals to include exercise calories so you would not eat those back.

True for me as well.

Start! Start with an empty bar if you have to but start! I do Stronglifts and it's awesome. It is a great way to get introduced to heavy lifting and get comfortable with it. I check my form quite frequently, taking videos with my iPhone while I'm lifting. There is a Stronglifts for women group on here that is really great,…

I use my chucks. They work great :)

Way to go!

I weigh weekly and measure monthly, although I have considered measuring biweekly.

I started working out when my twins were 3 months old and I have never had a gym membership so it is very possible! I recommend 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, Jillian Michaels' Body Revolution and getting yourself some hand weights. I started with 3, 5, and 10 and moved up from there. I did my workouts in the evenings after…

Definitely not a plateau :) If I were you I would eat back my exercise calories and add in strength training. Don't get discouraged, it takes time to see change! Good luck!

You can definitely start it now! It is a great program and you can always modify some things if you need to. Best of luck!

I have a Polar FT7 and really like it!

Yep. My calorie goal has my exercise calories already built in so I eat around 2000 calories every day. And I'm losing on that and don't feel deprived and I'm less prone to binge, which was a struggle for me.

Your tummy looks fantastic! Way to go!!

Ditto both of those. I went from treadmill to 30 day shred to Body Revolution to heavy lifting. I bought New Rules of Lifting for Women and followed that for 6 weeks and then switched to Stronglifts 5x5 because of time constraints. I bought a weight bench, Olympic bar, and a bunch of weight plates off of Craigslist and my…

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey, I use the natural vanilla. It isn't loaded with a bunch of junk so that's nice.

I started with the bar and it was too light, then I was stuck at 65 # for a while and now I'm stuck at 70# :)
-
My goal is no more than 2000 and no less than 1700.

You look awesome! Cute dogs too :)
