Lol, I'm not squeezing it hard to make it smaller. I keep it consistent. I guess it could be water weight, who knows.

Thanks @Frnklft, good advice.
-
I'm not going to really care on that day!!!
-
I just ignore it and don't care anymore. I used to be self conscious but you get over it and focus on your workout after a while.
-
Thank you so much everyone! I have to try to not be impatient I guess. I'll post back again in another month or two.
-
Look up HIIT cardio workouts on youtube. I've been lifting 3x a week but adding HIIT cardio twice a week. It's great for you and can do it anywhere.

I've seen this before. I hope you're right! ;) It's been about 5 weeks and I do notice a change MYSELF not my family/friends. but then again it is almost winter and I'm bundled up!
-
Thanks, at what point did you see changes?
-
My stomach feels so much flatter and my performance is doing better and better. Why am I not losing any weight? I think I just lost water weight then if it was only 2 pounds and I haven't seen a change in two weeks. I just saw a measurement change of an inch but I think that could be water weight also. I decreased my…

I wonder what I'm doing wrong then.

Thanks for the support everyone. I was getting frustrated to the point where I'm wondering if I'm going no where with this. I'll stick with it a few more months and compare! If not then maybe change up a routine or diet....or SOMETHING

I know how to portion food and know what's healthy and full of nutrients. It just gives me a peace of mind to know how much protein I'm getting exactly. The only time it gives me a headache is when I really want something such as ice cream... then I have to kind of take time to think how I can plan my meals around it so I…

I don't have any issues with it. I just hope when I go to maintenance I won't have to worry so much like when I'm cutting. It's so much easier to maintain or even gain weight than to lose.....ugh. I'm trying to drop my body fat a bit to show some lower ab definition.
-
I thought to measure your waistline you measure the narrowest point? That's how seamstresses have done it to me. http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-get-your-body-measurements.html Anyways I'm a 27....or so I thought. If I measure at belly button level I'm like a 31inches I'm 122 at 5'2
-
I'm guessing it's easiest to NOT COUNT when you're just maintaining weight. I don't have to count to stay the same weight....it just comes naturally (before I started lifting and cutting)
-
Wouldn't recompin (eating at maintenance) just maintain my body? I just want abs to be more defined that's why I want to drop body fat http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l520/chelle21689/null_zpsadbffa12.jpg

Thanks everyone. I do weigh my food every chance I get. My family and boyfriend's family look at me weird when I do. It's just frustrating. Whenever I workout I tend to obsess more about how I look which is one thing I hate. I feel like my stomach is the hardest to tone at the lower ab portion.
-
Lowest I've seen was 122 and the highest in the span of a 3-4 days was 128 and went back down to 122 lol
-
better endurance, lose some last bit of body fat on my lower abs. Thanks everyone and I liked that adventure time pic quote lol I don't see what's wrong with doing it on a non lift day though....
-
So when am I SUPPOSED to do HIIT? On the same day I lift?
-
I follow the 80/20 rule too. I don't believe 100% clean eating is the only way to achieve your goals. I believe if you eat mostly healthy and fit in "bad" stuff in MODERATION or ONCE IN A WHILE you can do that too. You don't have to give up the "dirty" food you love as long as it's not a majority of your diet or once in a…

I heard the smith machine gives you unnatural motion which is why it's bad for you. Barbell squat is far more superior because you're using your core to balance and it's harder! I used to use the smith machine and when I went from that to squats I had to decrease the weights even more. I love barbell squat so much more now.

I just got advice from my sister's friend who is a fitness competitor and she said NOT TO BULK because that's for men. I know that advice is wrong...but she wants to help me but I don't want to offend her. lol
-
Okay, thanks. I think I'll stick with cutting and see where that goes... Just a confusing process for me because my body has always looked like this when I worked out...I want to transform it. It's been about a month, not sure if I should be seeing results soon...I'm just trying to slowly lose .5 pounds a week. I do plan…

Eeek! I didn't know the photo showed my face! LOL I just got back from a workout, no makeup, sweaty....dang it! Oh well... That's good that you guys think I'm headed in the right direction. I keep getting told to bulk and gain weight. I just wanna be sure I'm not spinning my wheels here. Anyone else with advice please feel…

I do the 3 day split: push/pull/legs and some cardio and abs in the mix. I lift heavy til failure lol so I'd be sore for 2 days. I want to definitely get nice bigger leg muscles one day and eat above maintenance but right now I want to cut fat...I'm hoping that I can still look good and not just skinny.
-
I guess not too low on body fat but enough to have your abs show through. I'll put up a pic once I find it...but I guess Jessica Biel type

Will I still see some nice results if I continue to strength train and lose fat?
