HAHAHA! You took the words right out of my mouth! When I first got my FITBIT, I wanted to cry because I didn't realize how little I moved! Desk job all day, then home to park on the couch! Now I am ADDICTED. I have been out at 10:00 at night getting in those last few steps to hit 10,000! I have walked around the house, up…

I use a scale that gives weight to the 1/10 of a pound. For every 1/10 of a pound I lose, I have paid myself a $1. When I get done, I am buying myself an IPAD. I thought I would buy clothes, but since losing what I have, it is almost like I have a whole new closet of clothes that didn't fit before!

You can start in Imperial Beach or Coronado - whichever is closer. I think the entire path is 5+ miles. It is really fun to bike along, but if you were doing some race training, it would be an excellent trail. Beautiful, fairly even and flat and not always overly crowded.

I have lived in San Diego for over 20 years - if you go to Coronado, there is a great bike/jog/walking path along the Silver Strand that goes from the city of Coronado to Imperial Beach. If you are looking to get in some excercise - there is nothing better than this walk along the strand!
