I would also recommend working out at home if you're going to work out early in the morning. You can also take a long walk during your lunch break to get some sunshine. I wake up at 5:15 a.m., drink my tea, and work out. I walk to work, walk home for lunch to take our pups out to pee, and then walk back to work. As soon as…

I usually have some muesli with flaxseed, almonds, raisins and almond milk. That keeps me full for a few hours. If I have the time, I'll fry up an egg and eat it with some bread and cheese. That usually keeps me full until lunch.

I haven't had much yogurt here in the U.S. since we moved back from Barcelona. Everything is too sweet, and nothing is tangy enough. Our British friends who live here all have yogurt makers because of this issue, and they've convinced us get our own!

We spend about $400/month on food for the two of us. This includes a monthly Costco run (~$100), a weekly CSA share ($130), and random odds and ends I pick up from the local co-op Saturday morning. This does not include alcohol, eating out (which we do about once a week), and dog food for two greedy, sweet pugs.

I just sprinkle some good quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, and toss. Right now I'm totally into this pomegranate balsamic vinegar that we found. Before that, it was fig. Yum!

We don't eat meat either. At family gatherings, some people make comments, but not to the extent that your family does. It's more like, "Are you still vegetarian?" or "Right, you can't have this, because it has ham." It's more of an acknowledgement, rather than making fun. But, if someone crosses the line into "making…

I'm actually meal planning right now, before I go to the grocery store! We usually have muesli or oatmeal for breakfast, fruit for snacks, and leftovers for lunch. So, I really only plan dinners. I usually pick out two or three recipes that I want to cook during the week, buy the groceries on Saturday morning + pick up our…

<--- pugs, pugs, pugs! ETA: i didn't answer both your questions! i walk them everyday, but they don't last very long. if i take them on a walk for about 30 minutes or so, they're so happy. anything longer than that, and they just kind of collapse on the ground and refuse to budge! there have been a few times where i've had…
