I hear you. Starting is the hardest part.

I love the Close Talker Salad, omit rice and sour cream. I just use salsa as my dressing.

I like the OH Agave Light brand of sweetener. It does have calories, but just a touch goes a long way in your coffee. I have not tried cooking with it, but have used it to replace my pancake syrup and love it. The Glycemic index is very low on it, and it is natural.

This is a great site for encouragement and good for you wanting to do it on your own. I know we can. No quick fixes, just common sense and good old fashioned work. Thanks for sharing!

Feel free to add me. I know it is hard for college girls, been there, done that. This is a great site for encouragement.

This a great site. Feel free to friend me, it really does help having people keep you accountable (especially knowing they will look at your food diary). I have been off and on MFP for years, but this time I am really trying to reach out to the community for support. So none of this are in it alone.

Feel free to add me! I need some friends to help me keep on track too. It really does help!

I would love to help being accountable. Feel free to add me!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the friend requests. It is so hard to do it alone. That is what I love about MFP, that you don't feel alone when you read the boards. Everyone struggles.

Request sent! I need all the help I can get too.

I need help too. Feel free to add me and we can help each other.

This is my favorite! Steam a head of Cauliflower in the microwave. Put in food processor with a touch of garlic powder, one laughing cow lite wedge cheese, and a splash of milk. Blend away! If you want a kick use a pepperjack cheese (just a touch though) or the garlic laughing cow light.

Funny!! Sounds just like my dh!

Great idea to vent and get it out here instead of eating. That is my problem too and I am trying to learn to deal with whatever the problem is and not push it down with food. I hope your day has gotten better, it is very stressful being home with kids all the time. Take some deep breaths before he gets home. Maybe you just…

Well, I am sure it depends also on how good of shape you are before surgery. I can tell you from by experience that when they tell you not to drive for two weeks, there is a reason, you could not muster up the strength to slam the breaks on if you had to. By six weeks I was feeling so much better, but did not regain all my…

I would say way to go on working out!!! Don't worry about one day off, just don't make it into two. You stuck to exercise, and we all have days you need to enjoy. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I am back too! Starting today. Have had a lot of health problems this past year, several surgeries and hospital stays later, I am ready to get started. No time like the present. Let's do this!

Thanks everyone. I still can't decide. I have tried it before and also not been able to stick to it. The new one is supposedly less restrictive though. I am feeling desperate. My big 40 is around the corner and it is depressing. I just have to get motivated and do something. I am sick of counting calories or points. I…

Don't do the pills, they don't really work. I have been feeling discouraged myself today. The pills may help you in the beginning but they are not good for you and won't change your eating habits. Keep your chin up, be faithful in entering your food diary (don't let it past your lips unless you log it) and keep…

Welcome! I just seriously started a few months ago myself and I love this site. It is a great way to be accountable to yourself. Good luck and congratulations on the wedding.

That is inspiring! Way to go and keep up the good work!

Same here! I bought several bags of the noodles, but just couldn't get beyond the texture and the fishy smell. Finally decided I would rather eat less of the healthy harvest blend noodles than that stuff. There is something to be said for good food in smaller amounts.

Been there and done that! Recently! This site is great and though I have only just started, I feel so encouraged from all the people on here. We can do it!
