I know exactly how you feel! When I reached the 299 mark (I'm at 266 now) it was an amazing day. I hadn't been under 300 pounds since my best friend's death.

You can do it, Lisa! When I started I had 155 pounds to lose and now I'm down to 110 to lose now. As was already said, take it in small steps. Just one pound at a time. Work hard and you'll reach your goal!

I am definitely super attracted to skinnier guys... my fiance is quite thin (5'8 and about 135). Glad to know I'm not alone in this. :)

I'm doing low carb 5 days/week and I absolutely love it! I had a carb addiction for a long time and I'm finally getting over it. I don't follow any specific plan but I'd love to offer you support!

I may have a lot more weight to lose than you do, but I wanted to comment on one of the things that you wrote about. No matter much weight we have to lose, it's still difficult, and need support! I wish you luck on losing those 20 lbs!

I have been told that you should be drinking half of your body weight in ounces of water. Take me for instance, I am 286.2 lbs so I should be drinking about 143 ounces of water every day.

Lord yes, I drink at least 128 oz (16 cups) of water every day. I just have a 32 oz water bottle that I fill up 4 times per day. It needs to be super cold though, I hate warm water.

I love the 30DS, today I finished day 9. It does get easier but then level 2 and 3 come around. I've heard that they are tough and focus more on abs, so be prepared. They provide great results though, I've already lost a few inches and I'm just finishing up with level 1.

Typically 0 because I pretty much only drink water, but I sometimes have a cup of black coffee on the weekend so maybe 5 or 10 calories every week.

Oatmeal with peanut butter, brown sugar and pineapple chunks. :)

I make mine with water... I add 1 TBSP of brown sugar, a pinch or 2 of cinnamon, and either pineapple chunks or peach slices. It's freakishly delicious :)
