I beg to differ as well! I have been on and off antidepressants a few times. The first time I gained about 40 lbs in 4 and 1/2 months went off them lost most of the weight. The last time I was put on antidepressants I gained 45 lbs in 6 months. I'll be the first to tell I didn't always eat healthy but I didnt change the…

Recently I have been working out late so I always try to save some calories to eat either before my workout or after. I also do not sleep well if I go to bed hungry so I started eating something small even it is close to bed time. I find that if I am feeling hungry and I'm already close to my calorie goal for the day it is…

Keep up the great work dancerman!

I read that you shouldn't do planks until the gap closes most of the way.

I recently found out that doing any exercises that make your stomach poke out when you have diastasis recti can make it worse! These muscles need to be repaired first. I have diastasis recti and I am working on repairing this with some ab rehab...hoping it works. So I won't being doing push-ups for now.

I am so scared to have surgery!! Yikes! I have also heard that recovery is painful.
-
I think I read somewhere that only about 1/3 of pregnant women get this...not sure if this info is correct! I also read that for some people it closes back up on its own within a fews weeks after pregnancy. Guess I'm one of the unlucky ones...
-
I sooo agree!!! They should tell you about this stuff. I never heard about this from anyone before pregnancies. And not now either. Why doesn't anyone talk about this??? I just always assumed that I would need surgery to correct it.
-
Did the exercises correct yours? I am definitely not doing crunches right now. I was doing push-ups but I read that you shouldn't do any exercises that cause the abdomen to bulge out because it will make it worse. So needless to say I have also quit doing push-ups for the time being.

I wish I could afford too...

There are some videos on youtube that tell you how to figure out if you have a seperation or not. I was told by my OBGYN that I had this and she said it could come back together on its own or it could always be that way.. that was almost four years ago and I still have a 2 almost 3 finger seperation. :( I may have waited…
-
Thanks! I did come across this video. I really would like to see before and after pics if anyone has any that had diastasis reci and corrected it with only exercises! I just want to know if it is possible to correct without surgery!
-
Anyone?

bump for later

I am wondering the same thing! I have a seperation and am afraid to do anything to make it worse. I just recently researched about this and came across some of the same info as you. I never knew before that regular crunches can make it worse. Why did my doctor never tell me about this?!?! I had always assumed the only way…
I remember when I worked customer service at a Kroger...I hated the lottery people. You know the ones. They'll be there ALL DAY until they hit something. This is the very first time I've played the lottery. I'm a lottery virgin!
Me too!! Never played before! 5 quick picks!

-
You look so amazing! I know that took alot of hard work! Good for you, I can only hope to look that good one day! Great inspiration!

When I hit my big goal I will be getting a tattoo. Still working on the design, hopefully I will be at my goal by late summer of this year! :) Can't wait!

Dancerman I guess it's up to you.... I like to repeat if I have pauses. I don't want to move on to the next until I can master the day I'm on. Today was week 3 - day 1 this seems to me to be a big jump from week 2 - day 3 I struggled big time today...will definitely be repeating on Friday! 10/12/5/5/9 pauses a few times…
