Definitely try flax seed oil if you haven't already. It helps reduce inflammation and when I had my knee injury a year ago it did wonders for me. I don't eat back my exercise calories. I just try to make sure I get 1200 calories. Not sure if that's the way to go but I have been slowly and surely averaging a 2 pound weight lost every week. Hope this helps.
