I read it 4 months ago and it helped me a lot! I was a serious emotional eater and found the insight and strategies in the book to be really helpful. I guess I like how she talks about "why" you are reaching for that extra slice of cake, what that says about the mood you're in. The book helped me become more aware of my…

Every 2 weeks, because I get obsessive about it too so it's helpful for me to do 2 weeks. I hide my scale in another room so I won't be tempted to weigh myself everyday. It works for me.

a pound a week is awesome! i know it can be frustrating but some weight loss is better than no weight loss. what you're doing is obviously working. just be patient with yourself. everything will work out.

I think it's great! I'm no skinny-minny but I run like an Olympian (just joking). Running is so much fun for me that I pretty much tune everyone out. That's when I'm in the zone. And I'm losing more and more weight as my endurance gets stronger and I can go longer distances. No matter what size you are, you will only reap…

I don't belong to Gold's Gym, but I did have some of the same fears when I joined LA Fitness. I was nervous about sign-ups, and how rigorous the classes would be, and if I'd look like a complete idiot cause I was really out of shape. But I ultimately went because my will was stronger than my fears, and slowly but surely, I…

I agree. Start off slower. Soak in warm Epsom salt water baths. Try yoga to stretch out those limbs. Give yourself little massages here and there. Sit in a sauna to relax limbs (if your gym offers one). Soak in a hot tub. The pain will go away. As you can see, I'm all about getting rid of the soreness. :0) Good luck.
