i did it years ago and lost 30 pounds in a short amount of time, but gained it all back once i started eating real food again in a short amount of time. it's so sugary that it always made me feel on edge.

I was an emotional eater too. A junk food night person. Doreen Virtue's book, "Constant Craving," completely changed my outlook on it. She has a lot of helpful exercises you can do and positive affirmations. I highly recommend the book. It's helped me tremendously.

my mother used to do the same thing in terms of establishing some really bad eating patterns for me when i was a child. one big thing she used to do was shove food in my face (mostly McDonalds/pizza/sweets) anytime i was feeling down--and lo and behold, i picked up on the pattern and became an emotional eater. now and days…

warm baths and epsom salt have been my lifesaver and i do strength training 2-3 times a week. you can also try giving yourself a massage, like really punching into those muscles to loosen them up! :0) of course, you can get a professional one, but that might not be feasible to do after every workout. also, sitting in the…

i also have bad knees but i'm training for my first 5k. warm, salt baths help me as well as flax seed oil--it helps out my joints. you can always try speed walking and then work your way up to a steady jog when your knees feel stronger.
