Another thread got me thinking of a new confession. I hate negative posts on IG motivational accounts. You know the type. Post of well-earned ripped body, one good comment, the rest "you look like a man", "ugly", "unattractive", "unhealthy" - uh what? My confession is - I hate those comments but if I ever post something…

Oh I need to add. Today I learned: an "urgent!!!" mailout which calls for a rush order of books, in actuality means books that will sit on my shelf for 11 months before finally being mailed out.

I hate that. I follow a lot fitness motivational IG accounts and the number of negative comments such as those downright infuriate me. Personally, I can't wait to post a pic that will get me a "look like a man" comment. That's when I'll know I've made it.

:no_mouth: I have absolutely no idea on that. Best of luck.

If you have to issue a plea for no jokes....WHY
-
Yea I saw that one. I'm still determining whether or not I want to jump in there.

I like this idea.... A lot. And this name conversation has me shaking my head. Especially the twin-naming fiasco. I mean, what?? Consequently, I'm now thinking of that statistic regarding twins skipping generations and such. My husband and I are both the generations that would be due to have twins. I am not pleased with…

I confess as a teen, some of these were on my list of baby names (frightening that I had already had a list), but as I've aged and met people, kids, babies thus named... I hold quite a similar feeling for that particular offshoot of names.

Right?? I don't even like females talking, trying to make conversation. Prod prod "So how was your summer?" .... Yea I can't tell you about my summer when you're all up in my bizness, sorry. But maybe that's just me. Perhaps they have lots of chatty Cathy's coming in to the office. IDK. Is the gyno the new hair stylist??

Re: the pap smears conversation. Hate them, but have gotten reasonably "comfortable"? with them. I had to have a sample taken from the cervix one year after an abnormal screening result. Worst pain I had experienced up until that point. After that, the regular paps didn't seem so bad. I didn't know that they are only…

The mini mini (like the 1 square inch) snickers/milky ways/twix/musketeer bars are all around 38-43 calories a piece. I know cuz my coworker stocks them in her candy jar and sometimes you just need a 3 p.m. chocolate fix :)

@melimomTARDIS, that mac & cheese pizza sounds amazing! I hear you on feeling embarrassed though, even though I think you shouldn't. My husband and I were at Red Lobster for a late lunch (like 3:30 p.m.) and hadn't had breakfast. The waitress kept checking on us and making comments like "oh still powering through?" & "wow!…

Day 1: cherry strudel Day 2: chocolate chip pancakes Day 3: pecan bun. Day 4: Pumpkin french toast Day 5: Reese's egg (the best of all the Reese's!) Day 6: Cadbury creme egg (first time I've ever had one if you can believe it. Verdict: way too sweet for me. Weird. Never thought I'd say that) Day 7: Talenti Banana Chocolate…

Oh...yea. That sounds terrifying and awful. I remember hearing neighborhood cats in heat when I was a kid and it's downright nightmare inducing.
-
It evolved into a whole new beast by the end.
-
That was my first thought :joy: But seriously, what do they sound like??
-
It was a mixture of not being able to swallow pills and hearing bad things about infusions or shots. There was a lot of stuff going on in there. I didn't quite follow it all.

That cheerio thread was mind-boggling. It's closed now. :disappointed:

I confess it's my dream to see a fox in person. They're adorable! I'm sure the surprise would give me a heart attack too though, which reminds me of a similar story. My husband and I were running a trail through a natural area last summer when we heard all this racket coming from the right of us. We stopped just in time…
-
Mannnn, I hate that

I just threw out pretty much a whole pear. I ate a few bites and it was over-ripe to the point of being a tasteless mouthful of wet sand. Blech.
-
How pretty! And delicious I'm sure! The bakery has been putting out some really lovely looking cupcakes recently and I'm getting more and more tempted every time I shop.

YES. ALL of this. People showing up early to my house stresses me out so much. What an excellent idea... Confession- I finally purchased and tried the Reese's peanut butter OREOS yesterday. The confession is that my husband and I laid in bed re-watching the Office while we snacked on them.

Not judging, but is there a particular reason you chose this diet? It seems harsh and just from day one, you are already feeling guilty? There's no reason to go down that low in calories, and definitely no reason to feel guilty when you can't stick to that unattainable and unhealthy goal. Why not try for a smaller deficit…

This happens to me too sometimes. I'm not sure what causes it. My laces are also not the problem, as I purposefully tie them less tight to prevent it from happening. Would be interested to see if anyone else has some insight on this.
-
LOL, okay THAT made me laugh. Thank you. I have gone from internally embarrassed and externally wondering 'oh my, who could have done that' - to internally proud of my impressively efficient elimination (to paraphrase your eloquent assessment of the situation). I will probably stick with my external reaction though, haha.

Confession: the women's restroom toilet is 'backed up', and I'm not sure I wasn't the one to blame :no_mouth:

Well this is happening
