  • Thanks. Atleast you're walking. It's better than nothing. Keep pushing and it'll get easier.
  • I'm glad we weren't home when whoever came. Though they probably wouldn't have robbed the house at that point. I have to sleep with the tv on so now we keep the bedroom door open. This way I can actually hear what's going on outside the room.

I actually worked out before work on Monday and Tuesday. It felt great. Wasn't able to get up this morning as I was up late last…

Exercise is nowhere to be seen. I'm not eating all that badly. The week brought a wedding, Flyers game, and to top it off my house was…

I know I'm gaining muscle and losing inches as my clothes are fitting much better. So I'm not as concerned with the numbers on…

My goal was to be 140 for the weigh in on 9/28. I think this is still possible. I've just got to keep my exercise going. Looks like…
  • I was questioning that myself. I had the wasabi ones this past weekend and couldn't believe that the package contained 6 servings of 28 almonds for each serving.
  • Hi! My name's Alison. I work full time and am also getting my Master's Degree. I did really well on the last challenge and am hoping this one treats me just as well. I just got back from a vacation so I'm ready to work hard. I usually get lazy over the winter and gain weight so I'm hoping to really get a great foundation…
  • I am definitely joining this group again. I looked forward to the weekly Wednesday check -ins the past 2 months and I lost about 5 pounds. I'm on vacation now so I'm not putting my numbers up yet, but wanted to make sure I didn't lose the post. Will check in tomorrow or Thursday. Good luck everyone!
  • Yes, you need to eat while doing P90X. I used to estimate my calorie burn until i got an HRM. Now I'm around 145 pounds and for the 45 minute cardio workout I burned 450 calories. Kenpo--400 calories. Not eating back those calories will put you well below the threshold and you won't be able to continue. I try to follow the…
  • @bstamps12---Definitely....they're always offering and I don't have great self control. I'm going on vacation with my family too so many offerings will be had. Good luck!
  • Already started the program a few weeks ago, but love to frequent all P90X topics as it's great motivation. Good luck everyone!

It's getting to be that tom and I had Chinese food over the weekend and pizza last night. Other than that my food hasn't been all that…
  • That's what we're here for-to help each other continue to push play. Everyone has been doing so well. I'm glad I could be here to help everyone keep going. P90x is a great workout program. Though I'm not very successful at keeping the schedule I keep to it as much as I can. It definitely has been the number one factor in…
  • You are such an inspiration! Just so excited and have so much dedication. Great job! You are almost 30 days in!
  • Awesome job! You are the reason I keep trudging along. Because I know it does work.
  • I know there was talk about HRM's on here recently. I decided to purchase a cheap one at Walmart the other day. It doesn't work so I will be returning at some point. I noticed there's some that you have to put your finger on the watch to get your heart rate. then there's others that have the chest band. It seems as if the…

It felt great! I can feel in my legs the 30 minute bike ride I went on last night. Good luck…

Last weekend was my best friend's wedding. I did rather well eating wise. Exercising the past 2 weeks has not been my focus. Between school and work…

Last Friday, I decided to up my calorie limit by 200 so I've been eating more. However, I also haven't exercised since last…
  • I'd like some of my pants to get looser too! You probably don't notice the difference yourself because you look at it everyday. But i bet if you put the pics side by side you'd be able to tell.
  • Good luck! You'll eventually get there!
  • start weight: 150.5 7/6 - 150.5 7/13 - 149.8 7/20 - 149.4 7/27 - 148.2 8/3 - 147.4 8/10 - 8/17 - 8/24 - 8/31 - 9/7 - goal weight: 140 I am pleased with my weight loss this week. I'm going to keep exercising and watching my calories. I may need to switch my weekly loss to 1/2 lb/week because my calories are at the lowest at…
  • I just finished Week 2 of the lean program. Good luck! I must say the many message boards I've found for P90x have been so encouraging. Keep at it. The results are amazing. I can tell already with my endurance.
  • He is not my favorite either. The other day I decided just to have the cues on and got rid of his voice. Turns out, I got bored. So atleast his annoying little small talk keeps you going:)
  • How is everyone coming along with their program? I just finished week 2 of the Lean program. I already can notice an endurance bump up and subtle changes in my body structure. I can't wait to finish 30, 60, and 90 days of P90x. I'm sure all the hard work is going to pay off.
  • I don't have a heart rate monitor. For P90x this is what I do. (I know this probably isn't the best method, but I'd rather not overestimate and do not want to buy a HRM.) I just underestimate and say my P90x workout burned 200 calories. In reality this number probably is over atleast 250-300 for each workout. I just would…
  • I didn't keep my challenge of not stepping on the scale this week, but I definitely cut down the number of times I did. I only checked it maybe 3 times total as opposed to the 4 times daily. I will be checking in tomorrow and hope to have around a pound loss. I've been averaging a 3/4 pound loss the past 3 weeks. Good luck…
  • I'm doing the Lean version so no Plyo for me. I'm very thankful for this. I tried it once and could not even get through 15 minutes of it.
