True words of wisdom brother!

I second Gorilla Workout. Its a quick circuit one. Currently I am doing a 60-day program from the makers of Gorilla Workout called Volt Thor Fitness. I am loving it at the moment. Another one I love is Sworkit. It automatically syncs calories with MFP.

Same here guys. 35 and 40 something more pounds to go. Feel free to add me.

RNY..1 year out and I currently eat about 1300 calories a day and I still average a 2 pound loss a week. I find the calculators, in conjunction with my fitbit, are very accurate. I expect to be able to eat around 1800 without exercise when I reach my goal weight.

My observations might be totally off what your medical professionals have told you. I was told to get in at least 80 grams of protein a day, but given no calorie guidance otherwise. I have found that I lose much better getting in around 1300 calories a day. Maybe I was in starvation mode..i really don't know. I had RNY…

Hey guys. If you like to interact and do more than hit the like button, shoot me a friend request.

The pre-op diet, by far, was the hardest part for me. After surgery it was just the slow drinking and having tons of protein shakes. I did have hunger, but I still eat much less. I am 10 months out now. The only complications I have had is not getting enough fiber in. Never been sick or vomited. I will take it.

I wish I had seen this. This board has been so inactive so long. Maybe I can get in next week.

The best I have found is Unjury which is available online. Nectar Syntrax also has some good fruit flavors. It was really hard for me to find a protein I liked and honestly I don't love any of them.

Pure awesome.

Hi Dave. I had RNY Feb. 10 of this year. I will say that the surgery, low calories and healing process will probably zap you for about six weeks. For several weeks I was only eating 600 to 800 calories a day and I felt pretty puny. I think the malasorbant effect of the surgery also causes you to be a bit weaker. Do what…

Hows it going. I am Derek, age 35 working towards getting to my ideal weight and getting fit. Looking forward to interacting with some other cool peeps in their 30s.

I tend to add people I think I have things in common with. When it comes time to delete I usually delete them after 30 days of no logging (unless i have a good friendship with that person.). I also strongly consider deleting those that don't interact.
