Some of my favorite snacks have already been mentioned but here's a short list: Edamame String cheese Popcorn Nature valley thins (for the sweet tooth) Veggies (cooked broccoli/green beans) Raw veggies with low fat sour cream (2 TBS) and hidden valley fiesta ranch mix (watch sodium) Wasbi soy almonds Sunflower seeds hard…

Here are a few things I enjoy for breakfast. :) Better Oats maple and brown sugar oatmeal (no sugar and only 100 cal-surprisingly tasty) 1/2 cup cottage cheese and one cup of melon 1 hard boiled egg and 1 cup of strawberries 2 eggs over easy (no oil) and a light english muffin with double fiber Greek yogurt (fruit on the…

As others have mentioned, making it part of your routine really helps. I also recently got a fit bit and started a competition at work. We assign points for being below calories for the week, for 30 minute of strength training, and cardio as well. Making a competition of it helps me stay on track. Also the mobile app lets…

I agree with breaking down the components or looking for something similar in the database. I would just like to add, if they have a website there is usually an email address associated with the company. Where I live there is no nutritional information for WIld Flower Bread Company. I emailed them and they sent me the…

When you first start it is also helpful to measure your portions until you become comfortable with what true portions look like. For me I was eating very healthy things just way too much of them. Preparing ahead of time has been a great tool for me. I decide on Sunday to cut any veggies and fruits and boil any eggs if I'm…

I like the turkey sub for a cold sub. I get double meat if I am really hungry instead of a footlong. I put spinach, tomato, onion, cucumber, black pepper and a little light mayo on the wheat bread. You will not miss the cheese on this. For a hot sub I love the roasted chicken breast. I get it on wheat with cheddar cheese…

Yummo! I can't wait to see what else gets posted. Bump!

I can not stand radishes...ewww...they taste like dirt to me. I am also not a fan of lima beans but I like butter beans...go figure. I keep trying foods I think I hate over and over again because I have found I did not have them prepared correctly or my taste buds have changed. Barring an allergic reaction the worst thing…

***Giggles***too funny. I was thinking the same thing.

Fat or thin I am probably one of the most unphotogenic people. I picked a fairly recent picture that wasn't god awful. I thought it was important to show a picture of myself especially since I'd like to make friends. I want them to know I'm for real and to have an image to associate with. I was very nervous about posting a…

Tech Lounge sounds so much better. :) Yes, this place had mostly gaming computers with several game choices. They also had a bunch of xbox systems but I didn't see anything else. It was called Howie's Game Shack and I think they only have them in Cali and AZ. I had so much fun I'm thinking of going back later today to…

So this morning I stated I'm not a gamer, and I am still not, however I spent part of the evening at a game shack playing Modern Warfare and I can tell you the only other ladies in the joint were with me. I thought the whole concept of a game shack was super cool though...wish they had them when I was a teenager.

I definitely am not a gamer mostly because I am ridiculously uncoordinated and someone usually snipes me before I can even aim...nonetheless...I fall into the geek realm. Has anyone tried the Serenity RPG? It is simply awesome.

I would have to echo a lot of what has been said regarding preparing ahead of time. I usually spend two to three hours cutting up veggies, fruits and boiling eggs for the week on Sunday to make sure I choose the right things to eat. If for some reason I am forced to grab something on the go, I like: Tropical Smoothie Cafe:…
