I started out not eating my exercise calories. It worked for awhile and then I plateaued beginning at my 4th month. Coincidentally, this coincided with starting to use the elliptical regularly in addition to what I was already doing. I went with the calories burned on the machine vs what MFP recommended (machine was…

You are just getting started. You have to be prepared to ride the waves of weight loss. As many have said in reply, you have to make some tweeks to what works for you, but ultimately, if you stick with the program, it will work. I went through the month of April with ups and downs and the finally it stuck. Weight your food…

Looking good!

Thank you. I have heard from others - (not on MFP) - about the withdrawals. For this reason & others, I have decided this is not the route I want to take.

You look great! Congrats!

Awesome! You look great! Congrats!

I am not a runner, either but have been interested from an exercise aspect. I have uploaded the ap C25K (Couch to 5 K) which will give you daily goals (walk, run, etc) to get there. Once the weather breaks and we really see spring, I am going to try it.

I'm 5'9" . In 2008, I went from 195 to 155 - 40 lbs! Felt great. But as the story goes, started letting it come back on. Gained 35 back. Started the journey again in January and I'm down 24 right now - heading toward that 155. I am on 1200 calorie + exercise right now (elliptical, Curves, Fitness Blender Video, 30 Day…

You did a fabulous job and are a wonderful story teller, too! I enjoyed reading your story! Congrats!

Fantastic. What I find fascinating with these before/after pics is the confidence I see on the faces of those who lost! And I see it all over yours! Looking good!

Just WOW! Talk about life changing. You did it! Congrats & thanks for the inspiration!

Congrats! You look fab! Good things do take hard work and determination and you are proof of it!

Seven came off right away. I think it was water weight. Drink a lot of water so you can get rid of that initially. I set MFP to lose 2 lb per week which was pretty aggressive. I started working out at the same time. At 10 weeks, I had lost 20 lbs, so it was right on. I didn't cheat and if I went over, I didn't sweat it but…

Yes, just look at your face! You look great!

Honey Crisp, but seasonal and expensive. Fuji is a close second.

My goal is 30 lbs and I started Jan. 2. I've lost 20 to date. I try very hard to stick with the calories allotted by MFP, eating back the calories that I earn by exercise. I go to Curves 2 to 3 times a week and really try to work out on the rest boards between the machines. Jumping jacks, crunches, skip a rope, etc. On the…

Instead of buying, you can go on Youtube and there are all sorts out there. I use the ones labeled The Fitness Blender.

This was a tough one for me because I love love love flavored creamers. I stopped cold turkey and started buying flavored coffee. True, its not sweet but it gives me something to look forward to and saves me those lovely calories!

It is interesting that using the Weight Watchers diet, soda pop will cost you points where fruit and veggies are given no point value and they encourage you to eat those to curb your appetite. Good question and interesting reading other's take on it.

This sounds really good. On my list to try.

I am 5'9" and my goal is 155. That puts me in a size 10 jean. I am 52 years old and a mother of 2. While I was in the 125-135 range in my early 20's, I will never be there again. MFP put me on a 1200 calorie diet which as someone else mentioned, is pretty equitable to what Weight Watchers points would be. I started Jan. 2…

Your progression pictures are quite remarkable and I bet motivating for you. You look FANTASTIC! What an accomplishment. Good luck and best wishes on the last 74. It will be a piece of (no-calorie) cake compared to where you have been. Keep us posted!
