I'm trying to encourage a friend who is also trying to lose weight. So far he has not yet joined, but I'm hoping within the next few months he will. I keep reminding him about it.

As mention before its best to have a trainer measure it for you. I have had it done by one in the past, but I don't have a gym membership any more so I just use one off the net (always the same). Its only for now until I can afford a fitness assessment.

I agree with Sharonks, buy it a bit larger then if its too big it can easily be readjusted, the same can't be said about a dress that is too small.

I just made these and they are divine! Thanks for the recipe. I made some adjustments. I only had less than half a cup of dates, and I used 3 small bananas and applesauce instead of the oil. Also I got 39 biscuits out of my batch and when I calculated the calorie content, each biscuit/cookie came out to just 24 calories!!!…

I eat eggs whole because I feel it's wasteful to throw away the yolk. Though sometimes if I poach eggs (I normally eat 2 if I poach eggs) and the yellow is too dry I'll only eat one whole and the white of the other only.

I love sweet potato. Ate it for the first time last year. I just pop them into the oven with some herbs and olive oil and sometimes I'd add butternut and carrots. Simple but delicious.

The sweetener in diet soda causes headaches (among other things that I cannot remember). I remember that it causes because I always used to get a headache at the back of my head for some unknown reason (I love Coke Zero). When I read that I stopped drinking Coke Zero and cut out sweeteners from my diet and the headaches…

I don't I bloat and gain between 2-4kg which drops off immediately afterwards. Its discouraging for me to see the scale go up, even though I know its water weight.

I normally go with the amount on my treadmill or bike. I think MFP overestimates calories burnt sometimes.
