Body blast is what the class is called. We do everything is sets of 8-10. It is more about the number of reps and less about how quickly they are being done. I kind of thought it might be a little cardio and strength, but wasn't sure. Thanks for the input.

I have recently started running and can run a mile and half without walking. Doesn't sound like much to most people, but it is to me. Also...I rarely eat at restaurants, but when I do I love to order dessert. No dessert for me. Haven't ordered a dessert in quite a while.

I think if you lose that much weight in 5 months it may be done in an unhealthy weight. The best weight loss is 1-2lbs a week. That would give you around 40 lbs.

Seems pretty good to me. It's recommended to lose between 1 & 2 pounds per week.

I am not getting married. I've been married 11+ years, but I am going to be a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. The wedding is coming up in May and I am hoping to drop 25-30lbs before the wedding.

Hard boiled eggs seem pretty easy. I could eat them in the car if I had to.

I know that I weigh more when I have my period. I have learned to accept that so I just don't weight myself that week. It's easier than getting upset.

Don't rely on the calorie counter on either machine. One of the trainers at the gym I go to told me that the calories are way over what you actually burn. If you eat back your exercise calories this could really mess you up. At my gym, she said the elliptical calories were much less accurate than the treadmill.

I forgot to add that my friend recently starting getting the Depo shot and her doctor specifically told her that weight gain can be a side effect. If you are really unhappy with not being able to drop the weight maybe you can switch to a different birth control method.
