omg.. congratulations on your graduate degree.. can definitely relate.. I have one 14yr old son and when I earned my degree by going to night school.. there were some days where I would question if that was the right thing... so many times I had to rush home and help my son out with one day projects and then rush to night…

what really helps me is to enter my meals the night before and motivate myself to stick to them as much as possible by coming to the community part and reading the success stories and catching up on all the great tips and advise provided here... good luck and welcome here :smile:

can you add like a bran muffin and maybe some sliced fruit to go along with your oatmeal instead? I ask this because my downfall is cake and icing... and donuts and every time I try to just have a portion I end up overindulging... whatever it is you choose to hit your goal just make it a good one... :flowerforyou:

I guess I wasn't the only one.... I have noticed that on the days I lose control on my carb and fat intake I become so fatigued... literally feel like I am carrying gallons of water around my waist and legs... it happens to all of us... it's a long journey... so just take it as a "this is exactly what I don't want to do"…

Hope this helps... but always have a protein, two veggies, and 1 starch and to his meals add an extra serving or 2 of protein and extra starch... for your plate do your 1 protein, add an extra serving of veggies, and reduce your starch portion to about half.
