My son and husband are also working out... weight machine, treadmill, arc trainer, and some free weights... they went to GNC for a recommendation on a protein shake to add to their daily meals and the sales person... also a personal trainer... recommended some fish oil vitamins along with a post work out protein shake. To all of you mothers with the stories about weight loss and your children ... I just want to say that you are blessed with your children... I love it that you are all proud mothers... I'm very proud of my 14yr old son.. he doesn't have this condition but I loved reading this thread because I love my son, he is my number…

augghhhh... and I thought my hubby was the only sabotaging partner... he definitely likes thinner women... in fact, when I was 132lbs over 2 years ago he became a little jealous and over protective. He would see me looking at shoes and clothes and actually insist I get them... but right now at my current weight of 167lbs…

If those people you are talking about commented on your lost weight and they are not the kind of people that would just say that... then I really think your body is toning up girl  for example... before I had gained back the 7lbs I'm struggling with at this point... I had noticed my scale hadn't moved but when I…

I just started them... saw it on the Dr Oz show and a friend of mine beat me to buying them... she has been on them for over 3 weeks now and even though there are no appetite suppressants nor stimulants... my friend has experienced less hunger... so I'm giving them a try

I can totally relate to the question... MFP has an allotted amount for me but I tend to go over... sodium triggers my migraines and seizures unfortunately... thanks for some of the ideas on how to lower this fellow MFP'rs
-
don't worry about questions girly... I have found there are a lot of good people here on MFP.. for a list you can go to http://thepaleodiet.com/nutritional-tools/fruits-and-sugars and then click at the bottom where it says View Table... I have that list printed and on my fridge door

Oh man I can't wait to taste those sweet ones... I love the Sun Dried Tomato and Basil I have right now... I like to whip it with low fat unflavored yogurt and use as a dip for veggies!
-
totally agree with S1lence.. you will get varied answers on this... If you were used to eating less than what MFP is telling you... you will notice that by eating the recommended amt from MFP you may gain a couple of lbs at the very beginning.. but then your system will adjust... the only thing that I have experienced…

I have some that are very similar.. they are called Skele-toes and it has 4 toes only... so your little toe goes together with the second to last one... the ones I'm wearing have great arch support... but one thing I will tell you is that it's hard to find good socks for them... you only have 2 options.. the ballerina peds…

I asked the same question when I started here (over 2 months ago or so) and a personal trainer answered the following: Enter the average work day in your profile, if you are sedentary most of the time like a desk job but occasionally run errands then enter sedentary, if you are active regularly like sales floor but…

So true... when I was younger I remember always doing it for something or someone else... but never for me and not surprisingly... just as that person or thing failed me... I failed right along with my weightloss... this time around it's for me and when I lost 6lbs I felt so good about myself. For the past 2 years during…

hevenn... you are soooo right... I am 38yr old female and I keep on reminiscing about how when I was 25 or even 30 I could just lose 10lbs in a week if I wanted to... metabolism is probably one of our biggest challenges... from the many we must already have just by being a whole decade older  Victoria.. I would have…

I was bedridden for about 2 weeks due to vertigo and to get back into movement... it felt like I had large grains of sand in between every disc on my back... very painful.. I also went to the UOP for my BSBA and HR certification.. I attended the campus they have…
