Binge and emotional eater here! I HATE it, but lose myself too late. I actually stopped tracking food months ago. I've been successful and got down to a very healthy weight and felt beautiful and strong... insert stress... insert sadness... insert whatever you want... insert Ben and Jerry's and a huge porterhouse steak! I…

Like you, I have been blessed (cursed) with a large rack since age 14. I went from flat to full overnight and by full I mean, they start in my armpits. Nightmare. I like Champion bras the best to workout AND wear a tight shell over it. The good news for me is that I do lose my boobs first when I drop weight. Lots of push…

Met my husband when we were 17 years old in a college freshman English class. I had just broken up with my HS sweetheart of 4 years and saw this amazing boy with wet hair and a bright pink and green bathing suit and tee. He was late to class because he was surfing. He sat behind me for 3 weeks and I braided my hiar over…

When I go on a crazy cheat binge, I start the next day with, "Forgive my friend, for I have binged." Then I list my binge foods and feel better. So, to be fair, "Forgive me MFP, for I have binged. Yesterday I ate over a dozen homemade cookies, Chinese food, cereal, and I bloated from all the salt. My tummy puffed from the…

I am 5'5" and CANNOT hold less than 145lbs without starving and working out like an animal. this is the weight my body seems to like. I have gone as high as 158 and as low as 130, but when I personally hit 130, I look very drawn and emaciated. It's a personal choice and I think you have to listen to your body. It's not…

Thankfully my health plan provided me with orthotics for my sneakers and shoes made by a podiatrist. no problems since and it's been over 5+ years.

It's amazing once you start tracking your food, how fast you realize how much you overeat. 1200 isn't that hard to do. you train yourself to do it.

YES!!!! I found a friend on MFP who motivates me and I motivate him this way: we have promised each other that every workout will burn no less than 500 calories. We actually call each other out! Gets you over a hump! Serious friends accepted anytime! As long as YOU promise to hold yourself accountable in the long run!

this guy is my favorite. Brilliant thread!

I agree. if it's part of your routine, then the body is used to it. Now, if you were carting a ton of bricks off your lawn to a dumpster like I did last week, then by all means count it. I actually wore a heart monitor this weekend while cleaning the yard (moving patio block, weeding, etc.) and burned almost 300 calories…
