You look fantastic. Congratulations on all the hard work. You have a beautiful smile!

I'd like to join too! I have no idea how much I weigh but my clothes are tight from a summer of eating and drinking! I am guessing somewhere in the 120's. I want to be able to fit in my clothes comfortably again. For me this ideal weight would be around 118, so guess I need to lose about 5-8 lbs. I need some motivation.

You look great... And so happy too! Congratulations!

Are you getting enough of all of your iron and protein? Maybe you need to eat more than 1500 lbs. Can you open your diary so we can see?

I started using MFP about three weeks ago. I eat very healthy already but I cut back on wine, which is my only vice. Instead of having a glass or two almost every night, I maybe have 1-2 glasses a week. I don't really miss it much either. It helps that my husband stopped drinking entirely. Even after just one glass we felt…

I have been eating on average about 50g of Protein a day. I love nuts and eat those in moderation, but try to limit those b/c of the high fat content.

Though I eat some dairy occasionally, I east Vegan most of the time. I limit anything processed, including tempeh, tofu, faux meats, etc. It's sometimes hard to get my daily protein. I eat a lot of beans, quinoa, whole grains, and my new favorite snack is edamame in the shell. I find it's a real balancing act to keep…

I tore my MCL last winter sledding (of all things). It took months before I could even put pressure on it, let alone run. It was torture. Don't push yourself to get back, and if it's not better soon, get it checked out just in case.

Fiber? It would be much easier to see if you opened your diary.

I was just talking about this. I eat a very "clean" vegetarian diet, with minimal processed foods. I can't remember the last time I craved chocolate or chips/cookies. If I need something sweet, I twill have soy yogurt. My kids made a cake from scratch last night and I didn't want any of it. That never happens. I have 25…

I haven't read all the posts here, but since water flushes out your system and gets rid of toxins, I can see no reason why there would not be a health benefit to drinking a lot of water every day. Thanks for all the info. I found the HIIT exercise information particularly interesting!

Forks Over Knives. Hands Down the best documentary I have seen.

Definitely #2.

It's really hard to go out and eat with dietary restrictions--like wheat. Trust me. Being Vegetarian is hard and limiting dairy too, since everything has meat or dairy in it. I am lucky to live in an area with a lot of healthy restaurant choices, but still it's hard. I understand that. Focus then on getting more…

Hi. I am new to these boards. Congratulations on the weight loss. I checked out your diary and I agree with the others. I think you should take an overall lifestyle change approach. Don't think of it as "dieting". You'll get a slightly different answer from me. I have been a Vegetarian for two years. I limit dairy too. Now…
