I am at 30% doing the pinch test at two different gyms. My body fat scale says 36% for some reason but it's incorrect. My goal is to lose 6% body fat or 10lbs of pure fat.

I think it's different for everyone. I've been eating back my exercise calories for awhile now and I'm not losing any weight so this week I started to eat near maintenance and not eat my exercise calories back. I'm sure I'll be below my BMR some days but over the week I bet I'll be pretty close to it or even a bit over. I…

I actually have two close friends that are competing (one figure, one bodybuilding...both women!!!) but I don't feel like their diet is very balanced or maintainable. They eat no fruit and eat boiled chicken for breakfast. But they don't do it for more than 12 weeks so for them it's ok. I want something more for longterm…

I definately don't giggle anymore and my butt looks great! LOL! I just feel like I look "full" and a little soft around the edges! Ha!

I lift to failure on all my muscles, anywhere between 12-20 reps and do 2 sets so I'm definately bulking up. I have muscles I didn't even know existed! :) Now I gotta get this body fat off of them so you can see the definition.

I'm definately a true apple shape. Weight in your neck, chest, stomach, and arms. Thin muscular legs and bum. You might be more pear shape with a bigger bum. My mother is more pear shape and holds weight in her stomach and bum. I do lots of twisting stomach exercises to try and create more of an hourglass but lowering my…

I just posted a similar question a few minutes ago. It's interesting what JennieB37 said because I am not losing body fat doing mostly weight training even though I do a lot of circuit type training. I'm definately bulking up not leaning out which is what I really want to do.

I'd love to add you too! Sometimes I wonder if the person had to say it to someone's face, would they still make the comment. This is how I try to think before I post a comment. I dealt with this first hand working in a big coporate office. A few people would blast rude emails out that really hurt people. I would walk up…

Thanks everyone for the advice. I love to exercise and when I get to the gym I have trouble just slowing down. I tend to get hyped up and then I go "all-out" if you know what I mean. Even when I do steady-state cardio I'll do 45 minutes on the step-mill and if anyone know what that is it's a rotating staircase and it's…

I put on weight from the sodium I ate two or three days ago as well as weight training from a few days ago. My scale will jump 4lbs in one night from it! It takes two to three days of lower sodium to get the weight down again. It makes it very frustrating to try and track my weight but I have to do it over the long haul…
