I just don't bother tidying mine up - if they're not on my newsfeed they're not bothering me. If they're on my newsfeed it means they're active and I comment and reply with them. I can't be here every single day either.

Yeah, as someone said above, vegetables fill you up like crazy. 150 calories of rice is about 50 grams, which is a few spoonfuls - weigh out 50g and see how big it is. 150 calories of vegetables is a full plate, and has loads of nutrients. Add some good meat to that and you're completely full. You'll have hungry days every…

Sometimes it means you're lacking a nutrient and that's why you're craving certain foods that used to be the way you got it in your old lifestyle. There may be something in these articles that can help decide on better junk food/cheat day management. http://www.livestrong.com/food-cravings/

Even if you work in an office of the hospital, you're indirectly in contact. What's the big deal? It doesn't do anything to you and it's free. I thought working in a hospital would make you less superstitious about preventative measures.

I don't want my friends knowing that I'm on this site, because it's personal. Some people want privacy when it comes to weight loss. I only have one RL friend on MFP and that's because he was trying to change his diet the same time I was, and I'm ok with him knowing what I eat.

Run a circle/circuit centred around your house, so that if you run a mile you're still only a couple hundred metres from the house at any one time. Instead of running 1 mile directly away from your house and having to turn around and run a mile back if you need anything.

People have the freedom to diversify, so they have done so. So is there a crisis; no.

There's a lot of bias against heterosexual white males, kind of like a backlash. They will be blamed for sexism and racism first. They will be stepped over just so that a company has a woman or ethnic person in positions to fill their quota. And that's speaking as a woman. All of this just needs to find a balance but it'll…

It's just not worth it. My mam gave up for all her three children, but took it back up between and after. She smokes a couple a day, which seems like a harder thing to give up than a 20 a day smoker. Oh well. She did the right thing for the pregnancies and that's what matters, you can do what you want to your own body, but…

I'm from Ireland if that's any use :)

Would this kind of cooking not nuke the nutrients out of the green beans?

Just because you can't understand an event that has more than one outcome doesn't mean it's not a sport. It's judged because someone doing a double backflip needs to be compared fairly to someone doing somersaults. There is no single finish line and that's what you have a problem with. But they are sports.

Basically, MFP exercise calories are a bit too generous -at least for me. I eat back exercise calories but I take a lower number than MFP thinks it should be.

It's actually easier to park beside a car than to park with empty space around you. Whether it's forward or reverse parking. That I can understand. It's not necessary for treadmills or cinemas.

They don't happen here! It's great. Only shootings in Ireland are drug dealers ****ing each other up But like I said, you're gonna have to put up with them because there are too many in circulation to get rid of them and people are too stubborn. They're useless for anything but killing, and if people can't control…

I live in a country where the even police don't have guns. It's great. If I don't want to binge on junk food I don't buy it into the house, because then lack of willpower has nothing to act on anyway. Same deal with guns. It's just been a part of your country for too long and people don't like things being taken away from…

I could kinda see a way of making the probability of the two piles equal, but that wouldn't guarantee that they do turn out equal...

In Ireland, even the POLICE don't have guns. They have a truncheon and (as of 3 years ago) pepper spray. If they need guns they need to call in the special arms division, and they're only really in Dublin/Limerick/Cork for tackling the drug dealing families. The only real shootings that go on are between drug dealers, but…

There are healthy things that fill out your calories, like nuts, avocadoes, chickpeas... Do a bit of reading on foods with good nutrition that would fill your numbers, and consider a protein shake before your workout as that would help keep you going :) Greek yoghurt is good protein and has enough calories for the amount…

bump, this is a handy reminder for me. I love tofu, chickpeas, quinoa, greek yoghurt etc so I'm pretty happy already, but always good to find out more!

I haven't found one that I LOVE yet. When my mind isn't engaged I get fed up. I'd like to learn dance routines but I haven't found a reliable resource for myself, that's been my goal lately, to find a decent youtube channel or website for it. Meanwhile I've been following the girl on blogilates!

My skin is good but I want to clean my pores, but products I've tried to do so make my skin dry and break out. I'm wondering should I just use hot water on its own...

Now that you've brought up air, it's easy to explain how there's bad tasting water out there. Rusty old water pipes with flouride and chlorine in the city is so horrible I use cordial to make it bearable. In the middle of a big ol' city do you love to breathe in the smog off the exhaust of a lorry? Well, water-wise some of…

I eat breakfast etc as normal (I always have oatmeal), but I have an apple and water before I go in to be sure my blood sugar levels are grand. After donation you can have fruit instead of the biscuits or crisps, but I let myself have something nice because I earned it, morally and calorifically :P I've had no problems…

The only downside I'd consider is if you start to have sleeping problems. Other than that I love drinking it

I think the value of a calorie should be based on how many micronutrients you can get with them. And it's better to go without mayonnaise when ordering at a deli because they always stick a trowel in and drown the bread in it. Disgusting amounts of sauce even if I wasn't thinking about calories. Pure mank. At home,…

No water sounds a bit dangerous! Considering most people on MFP are in America, where it's wayy hotter than where I am! Just curious, what if someone passes out? You give them water then? Not trying to be insulting, just genuinely trying to learn! It's pretty interesting :)
