Wow! Well done, keep it up! Sure can tell you are putting in some seriously hard work:smile:

I do L1 D2 tonight and I now realize workout 1 worked a lot more than I initially thought. Yesterday I wasn't really sore at all, today I got out of bed and my legs were screaming with each step I took! Can't wait to get to the gym at lunch just to loosen up!! Love the soreness though because it gives me the…

Mmm, very yummy- I had this in South Africa for breakfast-everyone from SA was eating it like no big deal!

Started last night and was suprised how much it made me sweat and how hard I was breathing. This excites me though because it is only 20 or so minutes! I plan on doing cardio as well and have read today that JM suggested somewhere to do 2 days on and then a cardio and then 2 days on with a rest day. I think this makes the…

You should be able to do it. You need enough space to spread out as if you were making a snow angel if that makes sense.

It's ok, we have all been there. Good job venting it! Now hopefully you will feel better and can carry on! Good luck:)

I totally know what you mean... I think maybe it just comes with time. I'm not sure how to help the progress other than just sticking with it I guess...Can you zone out a little with music?

Thanks for the tip!!

Bump and thank you to OP and the ladies trying to help explain!

This was so true for me yesterday... I am no where near my GW and only at week 5 on C25K but ran in my first 5k. I was nervous that I would be horrified with people watching or that they would laugh at me when I couldn't keep up. I was so relieved and inspired to realize that everyone was so encouraging and kind. There was…

Did my first yesterday and had to walk a bit. Only at week 5 of 9 in C25K but finished in 39minutes. My goal was under 40 so I am happy with that. Definitely pace yourself! I saw some people that looked like they were in really great shape that came out too fast and by the end were walking. It's so much fun though so don't…

Just wanted to let you all know that I ran in a 5k yesterday, mixed with some walking, but I did so much better than I imagined!! The C25K program works for sure! I am only officially in week 5 of outside training and I finished in 39minutes. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing it feels to cross the finish line.…

This one is SO true! I saw it yesterday as someone's profile picture. I have to remind myself of this all the time!! Thanks for posting!!

From my own personal experience I would say to start outside if you can. I was on week 6 of C25K on the treadmill and was doing well then went outside for a run and had to do week 5 to be able to manage. It is much different outside and I feel like if you can do it outside you are only going to get stronger quicker because…

Ok so I have been doing this program on the treadmill at the gym so far. This weekend I decided it was time to take it outside. I realized that I needed to knock my progress back from W6D3 to W5D1 when I was on the road. Anyone else have this issue. I know it is supposed to be much harder outside and I'm just wondering if…

I think that this is awesome!! YOU CAN DO IT!

Slow and steady as the say! It will add up, don't worry!!
-
Very true! Haha!
-
You are hardly a bigger size my friend!! You look amazing and should feel confident in yourself no matter what!!

I agree and must say I have never noticed anyone else's underwear choice at the gym. Most people are quite focused on themselves while working out so really can't be bothered with what others are wearing.

Definitely an amazing program that makes me proud of myself everytime I run! I started off a few weeks ago and the 90seconds were rough. It took all I had just to be able to get through those! I completed Week 6 Day 2 today which is 10mins run/3mins Walk/10mins run and I felt awesome! It definitely gets easier and I think…

I'm sorry to sound dumb, but I noticed yesterday that while my legs were ok to continue running, my stomach felt like I had done a million crunches at once with no release and then relaxed. Does this make sense? That sort of lactic acid build up feeling. Is that because all the blood has gone to other parts of the body as…

Good question, I would really like to know this as well!
