  • Hello Everyone! I am a new mom (little Corbin is 6 months old on Saturday!). I have lost all but 15-20 lbs of the baby weight. My first goal is to get back to my pre-baby weight. After that, I'll tackle the other 50+ lbs I need to lose. My husband and I are training for a triathlon (9/23). Swim 1/4 mile, bike 12 miles, run…

  • I follow his book for a while. I was all veggie for a while, then added seafood, then added chicken...so basically I guess I'm not really following it anymore. I still have cut out red meat and sausage. I had no problem giving up eggs. Cheese and bacon were the most difficult part. I'll go several days all veggie and then…

  • I'm 5'10.5" and my UGW is currently 160-170. Really it is to officially not be considered "overweight" on BMI calculations. When I get there (not if!) I'll evaluate if it is where I want to be. 120 lbs sounds really too small.
  • Can you reverse pre-diabetes and be cured? Or will you always be pre-diabetics? I assume you will always have glucose issues, you just manage it better.
  • My husband and I started following Dr. Barnard's plan about 2 months ago. We are still eating seafood though, and some dairy (and ocassionally bacon - so hard to give up!). People look at me funny for going vegetarian. They are less harsh on you when you tell them it is for health reasons and not for any moral reason. SMH.…
  • 5'10.5" HW/SW: 287 CW: 253 GW: 175 I see a lot of tall girls wanting to be 140lbs or so, and I have to imagine I would look too thin at that weight. Who knows, I've never seen that weight (maybe when I was is 4th grade  )
  • Hi Everyone! I'm in the same boat. My baby is just over three months old. I gained 60 pounds while pregnant on top of the 50 lbs overweight I was before that! I have lost ~34 of it. Only 80 lbs left to go....RME I just started back to the gym this week and a co-worker and I are doing a shake cleanse (Protein shake for…
