  • Hello all! Newbie here :-) I like that I am always in a good mood and generally a very very happy person! If I wake up in the morning and can get up out of bed that is reason enough to celebrate the day! I don't have drama in my life, little to no stress so I don't have reason to be grumpy or mean to anyone.
  • joylat - LOVE chili .... LOVE IT! I wouldn't have been able to make that though because that is my husband's specialty! I couldn't/wouldn't even try to outdo his!
  • Thanks for the soup suggestions and recipes advice! We eat a lot of soup in our house. I ended up making a meatloaf and some scalloped potatoes and green beans. Everyone enjoyed it and I tried to make it as healthy as possible.
  • Hello all! Please call me Kathy! I'm home today, about 12 inches of snow on the ground, nothing compared to the storm that blew through here after Christmas but enough for my boss to tell us not to come in and for the gym to close. These are the challenging days. Maybe a walk to the food store and I'll make a…

  • :flowerforyou: Don't feel bad. Everything you do good for yourself is better than not doing good. So, you were good all day! As far as you calorie intake I think that is way too low, are you exercising? If you up your exercise you can up your calorie intake and then you won't feel like you are starving yourself!
  • I'm new at using myfitnesspal but I used another online support group when I lost 30+ pounds 3 years ago so I'm very excited to give this a go! I don't have a drinking problem, I drink, I get drunk, I fall down, no problem! Just kidding! It seems that ever since my kids have become independent (20 and 22 years old…
  • Holy cow!! I've found my people!! :drinker:
  • Have you tried to learn how to knit, crochet or cross stitch? I know that helps quite a bit with quitting smoking and habits like that. Maybe that could help? Concentrating on the task at hand, your hands are busy and you learn something new!
  • I'm a newby here but I think exercise is exercise no matter when you do it - morning, afternoon, or evening. Exercise is better than no exercise so for me it has to be an AM session. I will make too many excuses or things will get in the way if I wait during the day to get an exercise session in.
