You must have a generous group! When I did WW you also had to buy EVERYTHING (cookbooks, calculators, the food books, etc) if you wanted it, with the exception of the weekly mini magazine of course. And you had to pay for your weekly meeting even if you missed it! Again, I'm not knocking WW because it does work. I just…

Things that have worked for me so far are the following: If there are restaurant foods that you love, try making them at home. They'll have less preservatives, less calories and more taste! Lots of water. Exercise! Eat more whole foods and less processed foods. You'll be fuller for longer. Invest in a food scale.

and I feel fine!

I've done it previously. IMHO, MFP is much better. One of the reasons I stopped WW was the cost. That program worked better for me if I went to the meetings and on top of the registration fee it was $13/wk just to weigh in. I like counting calories better. I'm more aware of my macros then I was when I did WW. I think for…

I'm with everyone who says to do your best to get more bang for your buck, so to speak. For example, I take a sandwich, a yogurt and usually one or two fruits and one or two veggies for my lunches. It doesn't sound like much but it keeps me full until about dinner. Sometimes I will snack on something light before dinner…

You can still lose weight staying under your calories but you should be looking at your health as a whole and not just at weight. Staying in your calorie limit is important but so is eating well. You can't deprive yourself of things you enjoy or else you will set yourself up for failure. But those things you enjoy that…

You look fabulous!! Amazing and inspiring for sure!

That is awesome!! And inspirational! Thank you so much for sharing!

I think it grabs the closest thing to what you are scanning. For accuracy purposes I always just enter the info myself if the scanner brings up something that isn't close to what I am eating.

This! My husband and I found the same thing. The upfront cost seems more but it is actually saving you in the long run. When you buy fresh and buy meats you get more meals than if you buy the convenient "junk" items. For example, we'll usually by the club pack of boneless skinless chicken breasts. This runs us anywhere…

I'm 5'6-5'7ish. My short term goal is to get to 225. My long term goal is to get to 175. Then we'll see how I feel there and decide if I should lose more or just maintain. :)

Awesome job! Good luck with the rest of your journey! :) Also sent a friend request. :)

Amazing! Congratulations!

My hubby always reminds me that you can lose a few battles and still win the war. Don't let it get you down! As a few others have said...do a little exercise and drink water. Wash your hands of it. It was an in the moment choice and we all have those. Just start fresh tomorrow...you will be fine!

Amazing job! Congratulations on your journey so far! Keep up the good work!! And thank you so much for sharing. :) You are such an inspiration!

I'd believe it! I haven't had the oikos but there is a brand called Liberte and it's so creamy and delicious! It is around 200+ calories so I usually only buy one and use it for a treat. :)

Amazing job on doing well for not just yourself, but your family as well! It is always a help when you have that kind of support system. The fact that your kids are learning good habits now too is awesome! Congrats on it all! As far as snacky things I like to check out the organic section. Sometimes the chips are not a…

I step on the scale usually every day (bad habit, I know) but only go by my weigh in day weight. Your body's weight can fluctuate from day to day...even hour to hour. I wouldn't get too disappointed. As many people have pointed out, weight loss is not linear. There will be many ups and downs. Just be persistent and…

I definitely had success with WW. I liked the accountability and the weekly meeting. However, it does get expensive. I tried it online to save money and didn't have nearly as much success as when I attended meetings. We had a good leader though. She often stressed making better choices but there are leaders out there who…

I have osteogenesis imperfecta. I've had it my whole life but thankfully I have the "best" type - meaning a lot less of the issues that can accompany more serious types. Basically it is a lack of collagen in the bones and I tend to break easily. I just make sure to be careful when exercising. I'm a huge fan of low impact…

Beautiful in your before pictures but what an amazing loss! You look incredible! Keep it up. :)

From other things I've read it sounds like you aren't eating enough based on how much you say you workout. Are you logging your exercise and eating those calories back? If not you're probably not netting enough calories per day. Say you are only eating 1200 calories and you are burning 600. Well 1200-600 is only 600…
