I love the imagery in this! :) But it is true. This is my second time around on MFP. I lost around 38 pounds my last time around, it felt good, I felt good, I swore I'd never let myself gain it back. Then life happened and $&!@ sucked for awhile. I fell into the routine of making bad choices and not exercising and I gained…

Same! And to just be healthier. :)

Hello there! I am not a type 1 diabetic but my husband is one. About 5 months ago he landed in the hospital with an infection and DKA. Since then, we have both been making better choices (admittedly, there have been some bad ones). Though I am not diabetic myself, I know how hard it is from watching him. Feel free to add…

This! Just a little at a time and you will get there. It is making those small changes. I also find that in helping to motivate others, I motivate myself. Try to surround yourself with positive, motivating people. Even if it is just a "like" on a status, you know someone is rooting for you. You've got this!

Definitely, if you can avoid stopping at DD at all then that is probably your best bet. Plus, think of all the money you will save not buying a coffee every morning! I know it's tough but sometimes you just have to say no. I find asking myself "Do I really need that?" is a good way to go. Sometimes I will say no but have…

Hey everyone, I'm Amanda. I'm 31 and married to a wonderful man. This is my second round on MFP, technically my third but the first time I didn't really use it consistently or to its full potential. I lost almost 40 pounds the last time I used MFP and unfortunately, I have put all of it back on. I am looking to get back to…

Welcome back! I am back again. I did really well early last year and then around the end of April 2013 that was the beginning of the backslide. We were doing a lot of traveling, my grandmother passed away, and I just had a terrible time getting and staying on track. I felt defeated and gave up. Just recently I began a new…

haha This! I want to be able to run when the zombie apocalpyse happens! (j/k) Seriously though, I exercise for the overall health benefits not just for the weightloss. For me I want to FEEL good. I want to be healthy and health is not just about weightloss (though it is, obviously, a factor).

Most contestants on the Biggest Loser gain back the weight they lost after the show is over. They are exercising 6-7 hours a day; intense workouts too. In that kind of environment of course they will lose crazy amounts of weight. What they are doing on that show isn't sustainable, which is one of the reasons they gain back…

There's a whole bunch of reasons! 1) I've always been heavier. I want to know what it is like to be on the flip side. 2) There's quite a few health issues that run in my family. On top of that I have osteogenesis imperfecta. I want to get as healthy as I can to try and prevent any future broken bones (bigger they are,…

I've seen where people have said every 10 lbs. :)

Nope, not even the food book was free. You had to pay for it. It's great that you love WW so much and it is working for you. But please don't get mad at those of us who chose MFP over WW. It all comes down to personal preference. :)
