  • Eat to your daily goal. If it's a day you need a little extra, know that you have a surplus to dip into. It really depends on your body, but I've found staying near may goal and maybe going over into my surplus a couple of days a week is probably the best course for keeping weight loss steady.
  • HA! Seriously, it was like a flip switched in my body once I turned 40 so the methods I used in my 20's and 30's were no longer effective. I just found out this week that just because I burn 500 cals working out, doesn't mean I can eat ALL of that. I still have to keep my caloric intake closer to my daily goal. We'll see…
  • I have my first half marathon coming up in April! Diva's Half in North Myrtle... I'd like to do a figure competition too, but a lot of body fat yet to lose!
  • First day on MRC and I caved. My calories are well under 1200, but I ate apples and a protein shake with skim milk. I too bought the Living Social deal but I'm feeling kind of sorry I did. I'm going to lose as much weight as I can in 6 weeks then I'm going back to Vi-shakes.
